I thought that this white caulk tape would be perfect to use on our walk in shower that needed replacement caulk. And something that I could do without help or look bad! Overall, it was easy. I removed the old caulk, left it to dry overnight, and then cut and applied the new peel and stick tape in it's place. I wish the stick felt stronger when I applied it to the tile. I'm concerned that it won't stay sealed over a long period of time and will eventually peel/pop off. But, it was an easy home project that I was able to do myself and my shower looks better!

Shame on me. I should have tried this on a hidden piece of drywall before applying it as a temporary fix on my bathroom cabinet. This cabinet is pulling away from the wall. I needed a quick, temporary solution until I could get a carpenter to level the cabinets and apply new caulking. Once it was applied, I tried to adjust the tape slightly and it pulled off the drywall paper. Now I have a bigger problem. I think I need to leave the caulk tape on even after the cabinet is leveled. Otherwise, I will need drywall work too! This caulk tape is as advertised. It is sticky. It will keep water out. The center crease works well. It is (mostly) easy to apply, though I had a hard time keeping it straight. I think it will work well on hard surfaces. See my photos for before and after application views.
