I was trying to adhere EPDM rubber water feature liner to concrete. I bought tubes of PL3X construction adhesive and Gorilla heavy duty construction adhesive and both of these failed to adhere. Then when I used this silicone to seal the plumbing entry and exit, I discovered that the Welluck grabbed the EPDM beyond belief. So I tried bonding the rubber to the concrete and the results were amazing. This was any easy and inexpensive solution.

I have done a lot of caulking and this is the most difficult product I have ever used. I bought it specifically because it’s a hard to find color. It would not work correctly in my standard caulking gun, did not come out easily , and was a complete mess to clean up. I would never purchase this again!

If you’re used to GE silicone, this is different. It’s more like outdoor sealant than bathroom silicone. It’s hard to tool. I had to use soapy water. I highly suggest tape and soapy water if you want any chance at a clean bead. If you’re looking for more functional, this will do the job
