Very nicely packaged, these stainless steel whiskey chilling rocks are nice to have and easy to maintain--just rinse them off and return them to the freezer in their special case for next time. They stay cold and are ideal for smaller drinks...I say this because unlike ice, they don't float--and of course cold liquid stays at the bottom, so if you use these in a taller glass the top of the beverage may not get very cold as it would with ice. But for a finger or two of whiskey? No problem. Of course, there's no dilution of the drink that you'd get with ice--which again, is a matter of taste. Some like that effect, others don't. You could always use 4 of these cubes and 1-2 regular ice cubes and get the best of both worlds. ... show more

I thought they would be great because I didnt like how my drinks always watered down but they dont work for me as well as i thought they would. They look great but I dont think they do a great job cooling a drink.

Currently have 10 whiskey stones just to get my drink cold enough to be satisfied. I use an insulated stainless steel bottle keeps my drink cold all day. Works but unsure of it's worth the value over using icecubes

I’m not a big cocktail or liquor drinker, but am passionate Ice Tea! I keep my ice tea refrigerated, but because I sip at it all day in a large insulated container, it turns into a tea flavored water before I’m done with it. I bought 4 sets of these beauties! I use 2 sets in my insulated cup and keep 2 sets in a baggie along with another insulated cup (separately) in the freezer, and change them out after about 6 hours. It keeps my tea near frosty! I love that they are stainless steel. I had some plastIc ice cubes, but they didn’t last very long. These stainless steel cubes last so much longer. They stay icy cold for hours and keep my ice tea at the temperature I like. I use fresh lemon in my tea and they clean up beautifully. I simply add a drop of liquid dish soap to my cup, add water, and shake it up! I rinse them well, drop them back into my quart size freezer bag, and put the in the freezer. These are a perfect gift for everyone! Who doesn’t like an icy cold beverage. They are also perfect for milk drinkers who love it COLD! Soda drinkers! Yes please! And the container it comes with! I like these! My only complaint would be that you almost have to use the whole set to keep a drink chilled. Doesn’t work with drinks that are not already cold
