I would expect this to last the rest of our years as it is a very solidly, sturdy bar mixer. The shaker fits snugly together for shaking, but it's easy to twist apart when ready to pour. Having the strainer separate can be somewhat cumbersome when pouring, but with practice, you do get used to it. The recipe book comes with some new, but simple recipes that we are looking forward to trying in the future. I love the blue/metallic rainbow coloring stuff - I think it's so pretty & really cool looking. I have to admit that that is the reason why I ordered this. Nothing is really great quality but it's good normal quality & works great. I have concerns about damaging the finish so I'm being extra careful cleaning everything (I wish I could just throw everything in the dishwasher, but I know that it'll end badly). The shaker is a good normal size & 'works' well. I love the stirrer - it feels really solid, comfortable in the hand and is easy to use. The jigger is a little smaller than I'm used to, but it works well & is accurate. The recipe book is ok & a good bonus. Overall, good bar set that looks fantastic in my liquor cabinet and works well - I recommend. ... show more

This shaker set is so cool to look at. It looks even better in person than in the stock pictures. The color changes between blue and purple depending on your angle of view. No worries about scratching. They're built to take a beating. You actually get a recipe booklet instead of cards and it's curled up inside the box. You'll want to place it underneath a flat weight for a day or two to flatten it out. My only complaint was that it shipped in a mailer and the box was smashed (no fault of the seller). This martini shaker is even more beautiful in person! The drink manual that comes with is really good too. I highly recommend the super sweet peach bellini. This will last a long time and have those your making a drink for envy it!
