The first time I used this at a virtual staff meeting, a co-worker called and told me how pretty I looked. She said she wished she looked that good on her computer camera. I told her the secret that every one in the "biz" has figured out... lighting is everything. This light is great, it's got three settings, I tend to use the cool setting most of the time and you can easily switch between them. The light itself clips to your monitor and is adjustable to provide the perfect lighting for your situation. You'll need to have a USB port available and, word to the wise... don't clip it to a touch screen unless you don't need to touch the screen. Even if you don't have to touch the screen, if you're the presenter, it may cause some problems.

I purchased this to use while video conferencing. It's a great product with the ability to adjust the warmth and brightness. I also like that it's USB powered so it can be plugged in to my laptop while I use it. It gets quite bright, but I did notice that around 10am when I get a lot of backlight from a window (even with the curtains shut) that even on the brightest setting I was still dimmer than I hoped. This is a bit of a curse of my desk placement, but I wanted to let others know in case they're trying to overcome this same issue. The clamp is really sturdy, but it is a bit hard to open because of how strong it it. Be prepared to work your grip strength :) All in all, you can't beat what you get for the cost and I'd recommend the product.

Package and parts felt solid and sturdy. Ring light was generous sized and clipped nicely to my laptop. It offered 3 different tones of light with increasing intensity for each, until it completely stopped working. 10 minutes of life was all it had to give. What a complete waste of time ordering, setting up, and now returning. DO NOT BUY!

I was attending video conference meetings in the dark--or in too much light! My lighting was so uneven because I depended on natural lighting during the day, or overhead lighting at night. No matter what I tried,I always looked washed out. The Whellen Lightings system changed all of that. I am one happy "Zoomer"!

This product replaced a large free standing ring light, and it’s been a beautiful replacement. You’ve got control over brightness and the color temperature (how warm or cool the light is.) Even though I just got it today I’m ecstatic about it.
