    • Great TV stand for our 75"!
We knew that we were taking a risk in being able to mount our 75" Samsung TV to the stand directly. Worst-case, we were going to use the TV stand and just utilize the top shelf. Our TV is pretty light, and it fits great on the stand mount. I did have to switch to our 75" tv mount/rails which works perfectly. There is 3-4" of height between the bottom of the TV and the shelf. My girlfriend put it together which she did have an issue mounting the suction cups. She had a few choice words with them. I did mention to her to soak them in hot water, which did help her greatly. Other than that, she had no issues putting the stand together. She didn't have to make any modifications to any of the holes. We both love the quality of it. It's sleek, and modern. This tv stand is just Awesome. It is more than what I expected: it’s very sturdy, fits my 55 inch Samsung flatscreen Perfectly, easy to assemble , and adds beauty to my girl cave.     • Take your time and read instructions carefully
I think it is a solid purchase. It isn't too heavy and it looks good in the living room. The floating tv and the pivot design is so convenient. The materials are okay, they have some weight to them but once you open the boxes you'll see where the cheaper stuff is. The instructions can be a bit complicated towards the end of installation but overall i recommend this product. Make sure you have a rubber mallet on stand by for the suction cups. ... show more

    • Worth the money, 100%! Just one avoidable issue
I have been on the lookout for a good TV stand with a swivel mount for about a month now and Whalen never fails to deliver. I had a simpler model previously, but lost two of the most important parts in a move, found this stand and knew I had to try it. I’m not disappointed at all, this stand is easy to build, sturdy, and worth every penny. It’s a bit wider than my older stand but that’s fine by me, as most of the stands I found were way smaller than the pictures led to believe. The only issue I had was the seller I bought it from shipped it with ONTRAC. I gave them every way to avoid leaving the box on my FRONT DOOR where someone easily could’ve driven by and taken it and they still did it anyway, no call no text. Be wary what shipping company your seller is using, I sure wasn’t. Lesson learned ... show more

    • It's Nice But Has One Major Flaw
For those who want to put their TV on the top shelf, and not the mounting bracket, take note. The stand comes with the mounting section of the spine attached to the lower shelf section out of the box. The two screws are so tight that I stripped the holes trying to remove them to separate the two sections of the spine. I almost returned it for this reason. However I used a pair of pliers to get a grip around the screws (something it's not designed for) and I brute forced it and was able to get them loose this way. So if you are not planning on using the mounting stuff, keep this in mind. Otherwise, it's quite nice and fits my components and TV quite nicely. Looks really classy as well. ... show more

The Whalen Payton Brown Cherry 3-in-1 Flat Panel TV Stand for TVs up to 65" is perfect for my new Samsung. I am only using it as a table-top stand so it went together easily following the printed instructions. Downloading the 3D instructions to my smartphone was a pain so I didn't bother doing that. Package is very heavy and I am an old lady but I was able to open and sort through all the parts on my own and remove the upper portion of the spine as instructed so as not have to live with the unsightly mounting bracket behind the tv. It is a gorgeous piece and looks lovely in my contemporary tv room. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So the item was crudely miss handled by Fedex those are the pictures. I tried contacting FedEx with no success. However the customer service for the shipper L&P Trading was kind enough to respond and help me find a solution to my missing and damaged parts for the item. The only down side to this is that the Amazon app isn't the best with notifications for messages so it took some time. With that being said they were very professional and empathetic about my situation and did offer me a few options to help fix the issues. I'm grateful for them actually taking the time with me even though at the beginning I was pretty rude about it. I did assemble as much of it as I could and it was pretty straight forward with the instructions took me about an hour by myself.
