So i purchased this recently to see if it'll be comfortable riding my bike and playing Pokemon Go on my phone. Turns out it was a great choice. Case feels pretty firm. Very easy to install and use with the phone. I haven't encountered any issues with the touchscreen either. The touchscreen on my phone hasn't had one issue since i've bought this and put about 100 miles of riding with it installed on my bike. It also has a good amount of room for other items in there like my wallet, airpods case, keys, and mini portable battery pack. I'd say i give this a 4.9/5 stars. The reason i give it a 4.9/5 is because the straps that hold the case in place are extremely long. Nothing a pair of scizzors can't fix but i wish it didn't come with so much velcrow. I had to wrap some of the extra length around the bike frame since i didn't want to cut it. Otherwise, this is a great purchase! One last thing - I have an iphone 13 max and it fits nice and snug. So i wouldn't worry about having a big phone. The phone hold on the inside of two flaps with velcrow on them. It can easily fit/hold a smaller phone if needed. ... show more

This is a really nice frame bag for the money. It holds about as much as you’d like to strap onto your top tube, and the touch screen is clear and readable. Couple of problems I have, but not enough to give it a negative review. First, the touchscreen is almost useless - I can never operate my phone through it. This may be a combination of my screen saver AND the touchscreen, but I think it operate just a little better if I removed the phone screen protector. The other problem is that it will severely overheat your phone if you ride it on a warm day (over 70 degrees F) in direct sunlight. The combination of the phone heating up and the greenhouse effect of the sun have shut my phone down very quickly. Overall an excellent frame bag, just keep in mind the touchscreen and the overheating problem. ... show more

When I bought this item I really wasn't sure it would work on my new bike. My new bike is an E-assist full suspension Mt. bike with battery built into the down tube. It has a really steep sloping top tube and a down tube the size of a 2x4 ( 2.25" x 4" to be exact. That said I was worried that there wouldn't be a strap long enough to go around that down tube that holds the very large battery. HAPPY DAY ! Everything worked out fine. One strap wraps around the stem, the longest strap wraps completely around my top and down tube and the final strap around the top tube. Holds my Samsung S9 perfectly and the touch screen works very well. Enough room in the small compartment for a tube, air inflator, extra air cartridges, tire levers, gel packs, keys , credit card, ear buds...etc. I've taken it on two rides around my neighborhood without any problems.. I'm 5' 11", MY KNEES DO NOT HIT THE PACK and that is with a steep sloping top tube. Haven't taken it on a trail yet but I don't think bumps will make it move. I have no idea how water proof it will be but by itself I think it will be very water resistant. If not it comes with a yellow plastic cover if this becomes an issue. I needed this item because not enough room on my bars for my phone ( I have two lights on the bars and the digital screen for the motor that sits right over the middle of the bars. This was my only option and thankfully it has worked better than expected. I needed this phone holder because I ride at night a lot and use a navigation app on my phone that uses OpenSteetmap ( cycle ) OSM cycle includes not only roads but many of the local trails. Just bought this bike bag so have used it twice. Been great so far. Very sturdy. Can easily hold my iPhone pro max and large keys in it without issue. The touch screen worked really well while riding. Would highly recommend.

I like the concept of the "whale fall 2023 Hard Casing Bike Bag" I'm just not sure the zipper will last. In the photo you'll see the two area of concern marked with a small arrow on each side. The issue is at these locations the zipper comes to a halt and it takes a lot of pulling force to complete the unzipping for opening. I checked for obstructions inside and out of the bag but found nothing. I have a feeling the zipper will fail but with the great return policy of Amazon I have until nearly 3 months to use it. If it fails I'll ship it back and get the exact same bag - it perfect for what I wanted. If a second bag has the same problem then I just ship it back for a refund or credit. Otherwise, it's a handy addition to the bike and appears to be well made. This replaces a handlebar mounted carrier I had before. If it weren't for the zipper concern I'd give it 5 stars. ... show more

This worked just as advertised. I thought it might be way too big and interfere with my knees but it really hasn't gotten in the way at all. It's functionality far outweighs the real-estate it takes up on my bike. Only reason I docked a star is because the zipper can be finicky and the rain cover is a little impractical. Overall I like the product and being able to easily take my personal items with me when I lock up my bike in public is awesome. ... show more
