Bought this because I live in an apartment and missed the s’mores life and bon fires so needed a apartment friendly solution. Got the rock fire pit. Really nice design and sturdy. Came well packaged. Seller reached out to me right away and sent me a survrival guide which I thought was pretty cool despite the fact I’ll never be in the wilderness! Also, included was 4 skewers which were super nice and are able to be extended really long so they are great to keep incase you upgrade to actual fire pits or want to take them with you camping. Update- Used for the first time tonight. Just something for users to beware. We got the stone one and it is very hot on the outside so if you have small children be cautious and also what type of material you place it over as that will have affect on it. Also, don’t fill more than half way Because it will be hard to put the lid over top without burning yourself if you want to stop the fire before the fluid is gone. We burned our fingers trying to put the lid back on.

Very good quality (both the mini pit and the skewers). Very heavy and feels well made. I tried it with isopropyl and it gave really ugly blackish hue to the marshmallows (and tasted a little weird too). I then tried cheap alcohol (everclear) and it was great!! We’ve made s’mores so many times with this little thing. It can be used both indoor and outdoor (just be careful if surroundings when using indoors). The little cover extinguishes the flames immediately.

I bought this little firepit to use on my front yard patio intending to burn crushed plant material to ward off mosquitos. It's rained pretty much every day since it arrived, so I can't report on the effectiveness for that purpose, but it performs as advertised, I'm anxious to roast a few marshmallows, and Ryan's follow-up and the Survival Guide he sent are examples of great customer service. I would (and may) buy again for my back yard and for camping.

This is a wonderful and really cute little for pit. We live in a development where homes are pretty close. Was afraid to use our wood for pit so decided to get this while I waited for our gas fire pit. We use it on our deck so the kiddos can roast marshmallows. We use rubbing alcohol as the fuel. If you have a small place or live in an area where wood fire pots can be dangerous I would suggest this. 10 out of 10.
