I had been buying porefessional products and they don't work great at all. This fills in my large pores and then I let it dry. After, I brush on a light layer of foundation and this lasts all day. First of all, I'm not a "product" person. I am wary of commercialism and all the unnecessary "need" it creates for beauty products and products in general. So when I heard about "primer" for make-up, I was suspicious. But when I considered how important priming is when painting, I had this "a-ha" moment.... and, yes, it does make a difference. I am a server and a sweaty person in general, so all my eye makeup ends up under my eyes in the summer - unless I use primer first. The stuff works. Also, it keeps my glasses from sliding down my nose so much. I apply it on the bridge of my nose and it actually helps! Wet and wild is super cheap and works great. Compared to other brands I've tried? Just as good. You do the math.

This stuff is fantastic! I've gone through a lot of eye primers over the years, from high-to-low end. I have prominent lids and brow bones (that fully show shadow application), plus oily skin. Even my lids will get quite oily eventually without a little help. This stuff is neither greasy nor too drying. It's just right and keeps oil at bay all day. My eye makeup doesn't look dried out, cakey, blotchy, creased, or shiney, and it lasts ALL FREAKING DAY, until I take it off at night. This formula has also never irritated my eyes or made them water at the outer corners like other eye primers have (which drove me nuts ruining winged liner). It even keeps my brows oil-free with a light layer applied prior to brow powder or pencil and it doesn't leave an obvious looking residue on the hairs. I'm absolutely hooked on this product and have purchased it several times, including backups to throw in my travel makeup kit or just to have an extra tube on hand in case I run out unexpectedly. Plus, you get a considerable amount compared to the tiny size of most eye primers (including ones that are more expensive). Absolutely a 10/10 in my book!

This primer goes on nice and sheer. Once it sets, I hardly notice it on my skin. It does not come with any sort of applicator, such as a doe foot or brush, so I use a sponge brush to apply it. Eyeshadows adhere well but still blend easily. It will not make the shadow colors "pop" since it has a neutral color out the tube. Shadows stay put and last until taken off, and this is what's important to me. The only drawback I find is it tends to be a bit drying. By afternoon, I can feel a tightness around my eyes, especially at the outer corners and lower lashline, and I have to lightly apply some type of moisturizing agent. But I am a senior with dry skin, so this might not be a problem for anyone else. This is only the second eye primer I have tried and, at this point, it's going to replace the previous, more costlier choice. Update: I had to stop using as the drying effect increased with use no matter the moisturizers used or how often I moisturized. Sadly, this also resulted in a permanent webbing of fine wrinkles on the eyelids, particularly on the lower ones. Oh well, my mistake. It is the logical conclusion since it was a little drying to begin with.

I was a longtime user of urban decay primers but couldn't really justify the cost anymore. I googled dupes and this was what came up. Well, I think it might be even better than urban decay! It's not just "good for the price", I really am surprised by the quality and results and will continue to buy this instead.

While it seems that the product is fine, I had to drive to my post office and pay an additional $4.24 in order to get it. The seller did not pay enough postage. This could have been an honest mistake, but it was a hassle.

I finally replaced my almost empty tube I got YEARS ago- that’s how long it lasted for me! Granted, I don’t wear full makeup every day so I don’t use this every day either. If it’s remotely warm or comfortable, my mascara on the tips of my lashes will rub against my oily eyelids- if that makes sense? I have long lashes and I curl them. It would be a black smudge and stand out against light colored shadow. Using a super small amount of this, letting it dry, and then eyeshadow (optional), no longer an issue! If you also do mascara or liner on the bottom and get smudged eyes, you can use this too if you want to prevent that. 10/10 product for me!
