The Westinghouse iGen2800 Portable Inverter Generator produces up to 2,800 peak watts and 2,200 running watts, making it perfect for emergency home backup during a power outage or for recreational uses such as camping and tailgating. Powered by a 4-Stroke OHV Westinghouse Engine, the iGen2800 is engineered to automatically adjust its engine speed to produce only the amount of power you need for enhanced fuel efficiency. The iGen2800 can simultaneously power most large appliances such as refrigerators and furnaces while powering any necessities you may need while traveling. It’s lightweight and portable, weighing 46.3 lb. with a built-in carrying handle. The iGen2500 has an ultra-low tone for community-friendly use, operating as low as 52 dBA which is quieter than the average conversation. Unlike traditional generators, the iGen2800 safely powers sensitive electronics like plasma/LCD televisions, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices by producing clean, stable power at less than 3% THD. If you need more power, the iGen2800 is parallel capable and can be paired with another Westinghouse Inverter Generator using the Westinghouse 30A or 50A Parallel Cord (sold separately). The iGen2800 has built-in safety features including low oil shutdown and overload protection while backed by a 3-year limited warranty and lifetime technical support.

The Westinghouse IGEN 2500c generator worked perfectly right out of the box. I read the quick start guide; added the included oil tot he engine; added gas and it started on the first pull. Its a quiet machine and we will use to power our micro camper. So far I am very satisfied with my purchase.

After trying a few other open frame generators this one outperforms them all. It is very quiet, that alone is impressive but it is also very fuel efficient. In eco mode drawing an average of 1000 watts it has run 14 hours on a tank of gas. Had brief issues with it starting then dying so replaced the spark plug and it runs great again.
