Bought it when we got a new place as a few months before we had a massive snow warning and we lost power while it was cold. They reported power outages may be a thing during the snow storm. Luckily for us we only lost power for an hour at night, but many people were out of power for a few days. So when we got ourselves our own place out in the country and we have a toddler I made the purchase of a generator so we wouldn't be without power if it happens again. This generator was a good price, everything seems to be in order. Just got it set up on our back deck. It's one of those plan ahead and have it and hope we never need it rather than need it and not have it. During the power outage in the snow storm every place was sold out of generators and you had people selling the ones they bought for a lot more. It seems easy to use, It's gas powered , and easily movable (with two people or on a dolly). It comes with oil (gas was sold separately so buy yourself a gas can). It doesn't come with a cover but it gives you a bonus to register your generator and get a free cover. That's great. ... show more

We used this to power a large RV on a week-long trip, and it worked great. Really made our trip better. Assembly was easy. It was easy to start. Not deafening by any means but not quiet. Heavy, but manageable for my husband, or me and one teen.

We bought this generator for the current and upcoming hurricane seasons. The product is exactly as described and we love the dual fuel option as well! The design is practical and its perfect size makes it easy to store. The generator itself is very user-friendly, and the manual is easy to follow if extra guidance is needed. This generator came with all must-need accessories, some of which included: a small bottle of engine oil, a small bag of tools, and the adapter for the propane.
