Used for Skype and Zoom connection for major network appearances. BEST light found after trying many standards. Included batteries are another strong selling point. Can easily take this on the road, may with a single other light (or not) and have a very decent setup. I’ve used it with. Sony a6500 adapter to USB video, which provides good flexibility on using this great light in a variety of environments!

We had a ring light that did not change colors with the typical orange lenses on it that just didn’t do a good job of warming skin tones. This one does an excellent job. If you know anything about photography, you can understand why this is the quality it is, this brand is trusted And builds great products

It delivers great light and gives you plenty of extras too! It is quick and easy to set up, and just what we needed for our streaming class. I really like that you can switch from AC to battery on the fly; and that it is SUPER EASY to adjust the light from the front or back (brightness as well as lighting temperature (from warm yellow to cool blue). A couple of caveats that pulled off a star: you'll want to upgrade the phone bracket to get one that is easier to use shooting vertical video (think Instagram Live); while it delivers the quality light, the over all setup feels "cheap" (particularly the ring light and the tri-pod). The ring light also just sort of sits on top of the tri-pod, with just a tension screw to hold it in place - and feels kind of flimsy. Still, for a tad under $200, you get a LOT of bang for the buck! And would I buy it again if I needed another ring light kit.

It got some juice in it it light and only flaw i got is battery grip could be better. Over that that colours are solid, temp are great.

This is a great light for what most will use it for. Compact design. Powerful. Variable color temperature. Everything, including the stand fits nicely in the provided carrying case. You really can’t do better for the price. If you are going to use a ring light, this is the right one to get. Westcott boasts a color reference index (CRI) of 97+. I did not find that to be accurate. There is a noticeable green shift at different intensity levels. This won’t be a problem, or likely even be noticed by most users. For my film and television professionals who might be considering this fixture, (I purchased this for home use) remember you pay for what you get. You will need to add either 1/8 or 1/4 magenta to the unit. It needs the most correction at full power, and no color correction under 50 percent intensity. The yoke will not fit the industry standard 5/8” pin, though it looks like it should. It fits the pin more commonly used in photography Stands. There is no flicker at standard frame rates, I did not do any off speed tests. The battery’s provided will give you about 30 minutes run time at full intensity, fortunately it does come with A/C power supply. To summarize. You tubers, home-video enthusiasts, creators on a budget, corporate videographers. This is a great light for you. Film and television professionals, not so great for you.

The ring light has two "on" options: plugged-in and battery-powered. Within three months of receiving the light, the battery-powered option stopped working. The light turns on when it's powered by battery, but turns off within 30 seconds. (The batteries are fully charged. I've confirmed this multiple times.) The light itself works well, but unfortunately it seems poorly constructed. I would avoid.
