I dont know what it is about this toy but all of our dogs have loved it (boxers and Boston terriers) they don't destroy their toys, so it is durable and has lasted years. great for chewing and tug of war. if your dog destroys toys this probably won't last long.

I have a new dog that I got from the Humane Society. He's about a year old, still unsure of himself around people, but he likes to play by himself. I've gotten him a couple of toys and I wanted to get something to teach him to play with me instead of alone. He's only had this a couple of days and I haven't coaxed him into playing tug of war yet, but he loves to play with this alone. He wraps one end around his leg, stands it upright and chews on the other end. He also twists and tosses it a bit. It's a good, sturdy toy and he immediately started enjoying it. He keeps it tucked close to him and seems to like it more than his other toys. Recommended.

We have two versions of the WEST PAW Zogoflex Bumi Dog Tug Toy, one large and one small. Both have held up well over many tug sessions with our golden retriever mix. She's about 45 pounds and will use all her weight to pull on and stretch out her WEST PAW Zogoflex Bumi Dog Tug Toy, but it bounces back into shape even with her fiercest tugs. We never let her chew on this toy by herself or use it to play fetch.

Our two year old male 80 lb labradoodle is a serious chewer. Toys usually last 5 minutes, even the indestructible ones. Sad to think he can't have any fun toys that aren't a slick super hard & heavy donut, so we keep trying. This one has been around just over two months and is holding up ok. Some small chunks are now coming off in the center where the west paw letters are carved in and he likes to hold it there. I wish it wasn't branded like that as we will have to toss it soon. We have bought another though, as for a dog that usually chews through toys in 5 minutes, two months makes it worth it for me. I like that it's light, so it's easy to throw and safe for him to catch. The heavy thick donut chew proof toy actually is so heavy he cut his lip catching it, so this toy is much safer for fetch. It's pretty long so both me and my kid feels safe playing tug and not accidentally getting nipped when the dog readjusts his grip (which sometimes happens with the shorter toys, ouch).

My dogs loves to play “tug”. This toy takes the shock out of her pulls and lets us play longer. After numerous play sessions it stills looks brand new. I don’t let her have it as a chew toy but as a tug toy when we play.

First off, we discovered Molly (our doggo) has severe allergies. In order to figure out if it was environmental or if was something she was ingesting, the doctor suggested to put her on a Prescription Diet z/d®. During this process she is not allowed to eat anything other than this special dog food. Her "indestructible" chew toys, including Nylabones, when she really goes to town on it would have bits and pieces coming off of it, which is suppose to be "okay". However, I did not want to take the chance with this new diet since she is not supposed to eat anything other than the special food. So, I searched online to see what dog toy is hypoallergenic and made in USA. Found out that West Paw makes what I am looking for. I went online and bought a few toys direct from West Paw website, not evening thinking that Amazon might carry it. After ordering it, it said it was going to take about 7-14 days for delivery. So, I checked out other websites and Amazon carried it as well. So, I ordered the Zogoflex Bumi because she loves tug of war. This product is awesome. She has not pierced it at all and she plays pretty rough (see pic). It is ultra flexible and you can tell it is durable. Though I still watch her play with it but I definitely feel comfortable that she won't be ingesting pieces of it. Will definitely be checking out other items once I get the other ones I bought. Update: So, since purchasing this back in October, Molly has finally broken through the ends. I contacted West Paw and they are sending me a new one as we speak, free of charge. I just wanted to say, this product was not defective, Molly's teeth was just tougher than the material. However, I wanted to highlight, the support and customer service from West Paw is just 100% "paw-esome". They are really helpful and very understanding. I will be supporting them even more because of this.
