I have used this set professionally for a few years now. It has a great feel, but the ratchet us not up for higher torque. I stripped the teeth out, no cheater bar, no tool abuse, they just stripped out. For the money I paid for the set I would not expect that to happen. I like this Wera socket set for a lot of reasons: 1) The sockets are tough and tight fitting 2) The sockets are clearly marked both with colors and easy to read sizes 3) The sockets are knurled so they can be turned by hand once a fastener is loosened 4) The sockets have a slightly roughened finish which makes them less slippery with gloves 5) The extensions provided are thoughtfully made. One has a "wobble" feature to allow angled use. The others allow you to lock the sockets to the extension 6) The sockets cover an unusually wide range maxing out at 24mm 7) The ratchet handle, while appearing "gimmicky" is really well designed. The socket lock and reversing switch are well designed and it can swivel to a screwdriver position. The largish head size hasn't been as awkward as I expected 8) The sturdy metal case has a foam insert that grips the sockets. Much less likely to dump them all out it the case is tipped over. The set was expensive but it resolved a lot of issues I have had with previous sets. ... show more

I ordered this product after I ordered the smaller metric set but cancelled the small one......I really wanted the larger set and the box.....I read all the other reviews and I was alarmed at the number that were not 100% satisfied due to delivery or other quality issues.....but I did order on 10 Mar 22 and received the order today, 17 Mar 22.....The package arrived with only a plastic wrapping with a sticker.....the corners of the cardboard box were dented so I was holding my breath as I opened the box containing the tools......Great, no damage to the metal box containing tools.....tools were in perfect condition and new.....This set of tools will last a lifetime and be pass down to my son or grandson.....I am preparing to grease the splines in my BMW r1200gs water cooled motorcycle and this set has everything I need in order to complete the job....I am very pleased so far.....Wera is a great manufacturer of professional quality grade hand tools..... ... show more

I have seen and used many different brands but this one is the best. It is well designed and is just and overall excellent tool set. Wera does it right with everything that I have and this just lives up to the standard that they have for making excellent tools.

First off, I’m not a Ultra Handy Mcgyver DIY type individual by any means. However, I know my way around tools relatively well. Which is why upon seeing the initial price tag of this tool set, I instantly declined. Yet, my curiosity got the better of me, and I stuck around reading the reviews and after researching the “Wera” company. I made a super impulsive decision and purchased this tool set. My first thoughts upon receiving it, was that this was the nicest tool set I’ve ever owned. My first thoughts upon actually using the tools to work on my car, was I’m now a Wera Fan, and will make Wera my “Go-To” brand for tools. The quality is quite remarkable.
