This is my second set. First set I bought over 5 years ago and use it constantly at work. Only reason bought a second set is because I lost a few from my current set. They bite pretty good on fasteners and are pretty tough. Was excited for this SAE set to come. Problem was I ordered a couple tools. Therefore they threw the set in a box with my set of snap rings I bought. My first set I got that was metric and it was in a wera box with sticker for your toolbox. This was not in a wera box with anything. It was just thrown in a box with my other stuff. Yes itโ€™s new I can tell itโ€™s never been used. Nothing wrong with the hex keys at all. Just disappointed they took it outta the box they come in and I donโ€™t get the sticker. Lol maybe they will sell it separately for all I know but for more than 30 bucks I should have got it all. Other than that Iโ€™m really happy with the hex key set. Wera makes the best. I am a CNC Technician in the U.S, i have to say wera tools are some of my favorite tools out there. i have not had any problems with Wera tools . They are built solid! I earn my living by fixing machines every day and that implies using my hands and tools every day and cant stress the fact that i am supper satisfied with all WERA tools . Glad I bought these! The case is very convenient, and I was surprised by how durable it seems to be. The wrenches work great, and I love the ball heads on the end so that you can turn screws from an angle. My only grips is that they're a bit hard to get in and out of the case, though of course that means they don't accidentally fall out. I do like the long length of the wrenches. ... show more

    • Tough wrenches with a little rust
These are good wrenches, as you should expect for the price. I've got metric hex sets from PB Swiss, Bondhus, Wera, and a nice Japanese brand, so that is what I'm comparing them to. I needed imperial for a new project. I have an issue with the finish. My set had a few spots of fine surface rust when i received them. I would have bought chrome plated but Wera doesn't offer chrome in imperial sizes. These are not going to get used often and I'd rather not have to keep them coated in oil. I'm debating whether to return them and get stainless. ... show more

Also have the metric set. Just broke the 3mm inside a screw so they are not durable. Also don't like the extra long length of the larger ones - totally unnecessary and realistically inconvenient. The holder is too tight compared to others. Seems to strip a screw as randomly as anything else does. Definitely not what I was expecting. My search for the perfect hex set will continue... ... show more
