I bought this bag for my son to go to school. He needs to put a lot of things in it, including his school computer. It is very heavy, but the shoulder straps of the backpack are very wide and comfortable, and I like that it is waterproof. Made of fabric, besides going to school, I can also use it to go hiking, its capacity is indeed very large.

This item is being sold as a "skateboard backpack," from which you should infer that this backpack is more suitable for travel to sports events and athletic activities. The photos of this item are precisely accurate and show every detail, save one thing - underneath the top backpack flap, access to the main compartment is further covered by a drawstring closure. Apart from that, if it's not in the photos, the backpack doesn't have it. This item is really not suitable for leisure travel or business or school use. The main compartment is large - very large - having no real dividers or anything else inside, save a laptop pouch, which is very small given the size of the backpack. My Dell Inspiron 13 5379 2-in-1 slides into the pocket, and is a snug fit. My guess is that larger 15.6 laptops won't fit in the laptop pouch. The back panel of the backpack - that would be against your back when you're wearing it - is heavily padded. The bottom of the backpack has a kind of thin, harder padding, that feels about 1/4" thick and very firm. It would provide only limited drop protection for electronics. The other pockets mentioned in the photos are also quite small. So you'll want to buy this backpack if you're intending to use it for what it is: A sports activity backpack. And in that purpose, it is a huge success. The large main compartment can handle lots of clothes, sports gear, helmets, pads and the like stuffed in it, and the drawstring closure helps your pack it more securely, like a duffel bag. And I'm surprised that no photos on the listing show this, but there are two large horizontal velcro straps across the outside back of the pack which are, of course, perfect for strapping in a skateboard. Overall an excellent offering, purpose-built for sports and athletics. If that's what you're looking for, this pack will not disappoint!

I've used my old big name brand backpack for many years, most often while motorcycling, but traveling, too. But its showing its age, and I always wished it was bigger and a bit more sturdy. I spotted this, and while the ad says "skateboard backpack", after I read it over, I thought this sounds like what I want for what I do. And I have to say it turns out to be pretty much ideal. Long list of things I reall like: Thickly padded wide shoulder straps for long wearing comfort when loaded, shoulder pad cross buckle so straps don't try to fall off, big rectangular overall profile, padded but protective back side, divided inside with thinner slot for laptop and bigger area for other stuff, internal divider has a second pocket on it for small items, rigid floor folds out flat if needed but folds up if not needed, top flap has a big zipper pocket, one side has a long zipper so you can either top load/unload or do it from side or get something out buried in bottom without having to unload all else, two outside mesh pockets work great for water bottle and damp towel, and heavy duty material that should hold up for a long time. I probably left some other good features off, but these are why I'm sold on this backpack, and more so for the very reasonable price compared to others not as tough, or as much room, or comfortable to wear with a load. Its exactly what I've been looking for over a year for, and almost settled for less. Can't wait to go riding with it. A full five star buy in my book.
