The WEN Super Quiet 4500-Watt Inverter Generator produces clean energy free of voltage spikes and drops without all of the noise of a regular generator. Generate up to 4500 surge watts and 3500 rated watts of power. Our 212cc 4-stroke air-cooled OHV engine operates at an extremely quiet 58 decibels at quarter load, about as quiet as a window air conditioner or the average conversation. This limits its invasiveness while hunting, camping, tailgating and restoring back-up power. The WEN 4500W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe enough to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other vulnerable electronics. The lightweight design along with the built-in wheels and folding handle make for easy portability while the ultra-efficient 2.2-gallon tank provides up to 8.5 hours of half-load run time. Our fully- packed panel comes equipped with two 3-prong 120V standard household receptacles, one RV-ready AC 120V 30A NEMA TT-30R receptacle, one 12V DC receptacle, two 5V USB ports and an easy-to-read digital fuel and load display. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the Eco-Mode switch. This feature allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel, preventing the usage of unnecessary gasoline. Purchased to power my horse trailer living quarter and it is working great so far. It was easy to prep out of box and starts easily, first pull. It will run my AC at the same time as the coffee pot. I do turn the AC off to run the microwave, but not sure if I need to. It is very quiet, especially in fuel saver mode, and will run the AC all night on a tank of gas. Only small complaint… you can’t see the gas gauge while adding gas, so it’s pretty easy to overfill if you don’t have a helper. ... show more

    • Not what you may think.
Although this generator is very quiet and has plenty of power for the things that I need. What it does not have and does not mention in the ad anywhere is this is manual start only. There is no battery. There is no starter. Just a pull start. Which is going to make life very miserable in -7° weather. Tried to call the company today but it's Sunday so I have to wait till tomorrow. I'll update this after I get a hold of WEN. Edit: I talked to Wen they said Amazon writes there listings and the model number I received was the correct model for this listing. I then called Amazon and they offered to fix the problem with the product. I informed them the listing was wrong and why. I don't know if they did or will fix it. I'm happy with the solution for me. However, be warned This listing is for a manual signal fuel pull start model. Update: Jan 31 2023 Received product in Nov 2022. 2 months later Generator stopped working. Seems to be a fuel supply issue most likky the carb as there is fuel flow all the way to the carb and fuel in the bowl. Been using reg pump gas. 3 oil changes since received. Spark plug was dry appeared normal. Call amazon tech support they issued refund. ... show more

    • Excellant generator, super quiet!!
This inverter generator is absolutely the best value I could find anywhere. It was delivered in 4 days from UPS. They did an excellant job, the box had no damage, it looked like it was just taken off a shelf. I unpacked it and followed the directions to get it running. I was very impressed at how quiet this generator runs. At full throttle without the eco throttle on, I could have a normal conversation with my wife while standing right next to it. With the eco throttle on, it was even quieter. I have a Honda eu2000 inverter that is super quiet, but I think the Wen is even more quiet! I was amazed. It easily ran my rv 15k ac unit, the fridge, and any lights I wanted to have on. I was apprehensive about the quality, but it feels very well built, sturdy, and solid. The engine starts easily and just purrs. Our elevation is 7500', and it had no issues without the high altitude kit installed. If you are comparing all brands, reading reviews, and are not sure which brand you should get, I highly recommend this generator. You will not be disappointed!! ... show more

    • If you need a generator buy this!
I use my generator on my off-grid property for camping in a camper trailer and for running power equipment on the property for projects and maintenance. I realized that my smaller portable generator wasn't producing enough power to properly run my equipment, I was reluctant to replace it because it was so quiet and fuel efficient. I did make the decision to purchase this because I didn't want to ruin my equipment by running it underpowered. I thought that I would use the bigger generator to run the equipment that needed more power and use the smaller one when I didn't need that much power, (Again, my concern was noise). After I fired this one up and started using it I was extremely surprised that it was actually quieter than my smaller one. I tested this generator with a full load consisting of: the air conditioner, the microwave, the coffee maker and charging my Ecoflow power station all at the same time. It handled it with no problem, I actually think that I could have added a few more things but under normal conditions I would never be using that much power. If you are considering this generator then I say go ahead and get it, you will not be disappointed. ... show more

Except this doesn’t stink. It’s so quiet yet provides more than enough power, hence the silent fart analogy like a silent fart you can’t hear but it’s doing exactly what you’d expect! Super happy with this purchase!
