I have been using Unicorn Beetle cases for my iPhones for the last 6 years now and have had no bad experiences. I have traded in all of old iPhones without a scratch on them. Screen protector could be used without surrounding case- I have tried it at home with no issues. I find that screen protector lasts 3-9 months before it gets too scratched up for my tastes. The rest of the case should last for years- I wish the manufacturer offered screen protectors separately for sale. The camera lenses are not directly covered, but are recessed below a raised protective perimeter. The mix of built-in screen protector, sturdy feeling plastic and rubber textured surrounds are what make it perfect for me. Pros: - Screen protector is built-in, no need to purchase separately. - Screen “could” be used by itself - MagSafe magnet feature attaches well: no problems charging Cons: - Screen protector wears out faster than the rest of the case- wish they sold replacements of the screen protectors. ... show more

This is an update to my review. When I was looking at my order, I realized I had ordered the wrong case. I order the Pro Max rather than the iPhone 14 Plus-which is the phone I have. I ordered the correct one and it fits properly. I wanted to correct the record. This made me realize I need to be very careful that I am ordering the correct thing. My apologies for the incorrect review. Initial Review: This is my 2nd Supcase. I bought my 1st one when my Otterbox bit the dust. I got a new iPhone 14 Plus and ordered the Supcase for it. Unfortunately, the case blocks the use of the side button on the right - so much so is that it is on a permanent down place. The double-click function doesn't work at all so if you use that button a lot, the only alternative is to take the case off. I am going to try to return it. I'm hoping I haven't passed the return date. I'm guessing this is a design or manufacturing defect. The buttons on the left work using them as designed. ... show more

Product looks as good as the photos. Very attractive design with nice finishes, good tactile surfaces, feels solid and frames the phone beautifully. The raised edges are beefy, and the area between the raised outer edge and the camera bump is level: this is a very weak area on a lot of thinner cases. The MagSafe kickstand ring is handy and attractive: little hard to flip it out and the magnetism is stronger than most cases but still not good enough to be safe so I added the peel-n-stick metal ring and it's now super strong. The built in screen protector sensitivity is very good, however the flexible thin plastic will not protect screen from direct impact so I added 9h glass protector, touch still work well, but buttons are minorly misaligned. Screen protector also gets dirty easily and impossible to clean without soap: within the first week micro scratches are apparent all over despite my best efforts to keep it safe: eventually I will have to remove it. I also added a glass lens cover which fits perfectly. In spite of a few annoyances, I am very happy with this product. ... show more

    • Solid case I ran it over and the case survived

Solid case. Its survived a-lot of drops and abuse im hard on my device, but ultimately Its wont protect your phone from getting run over (ran it over with the snow blower) my screen survived somehow but my back was completely shattered. Minimal damage to the case though just the chain marks left on the case. I was able to put it back on my phone and protect my fingers from the glass till my insurance claim goes through so id say spend the money the case survived getting run over with chains. The phone broke but what do you expect putting several hundred lbs of weight on it with snow chains. Most likely the magnet was pushed into the back glass and thats what broke it otherwise it might have survived. The back glass broke where the magnet was located in the case. ... show more

    • Mag Safe Charger will not work with this cse

This is the second case I have received from Amazon. The Mag Safe would not work on the first case, so I thought maybe the case was defective. Instead of returning the case, I just asked them to send me a replacement. Received the replacement today and the Mag Safe Charger will not work on it either. No doubt, the case is incredibly built, but the entire reason I ordered the case was so as not to have to plug the phone in - rather, use the Mag Safe. Unicorn Beetle always makes sturdy cases - and the price is also reasonable. However, I cold have bought the same case without the Mag Safe capability for $10 less. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed with the funtionality of this case. UB Quality Control has some work to do. Now I don't know what to do because I like the case - built in screen protector, study, etc., but the purpose of the case is just not there! I do not like these little flimsy, slim cases that provide no protection, thus the reason I typically purchase UB almost 100% of the time. Well this time it has been a flop - TWO times. If I want the protection and the built in screen protection I suppose I will have to keep the case and just plug it in at night which defeats the entire purpose. The case is rugged. Suports Mag Safe Charging. Hold well in the hand. This is my 3rd case. Supcase shipped me two by accident and both of those the kickstand failed within the first year. Supcase sent me a new case and less than a year later, the kickstand failed. I brought it to their attention. The one year warranty is only on the original purchase and not on any replacements. I kinda get it, but if 3 cases failed in the same way you would think they would take notice and remedy the problem. The only other issue I ran into is moisture gets under the screen easily and affects the touch screen. Generally, it happens when cleaning it. The only way to remedy it, is to take the case off and clean it inside and out. While, I liked the case (why I am giving it 3 stars instead of 1) I won't buy another until they fix they problem. ... show more
