Produce up to 4500 surge watts and 3600 rated watts of power. Our 181cc engine operates at a modest 62 decibels at quarter load. This limits its invasiveness while camping, hunting, tailgating, and restoring backup power. The WEN 4500W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing for the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. The lightweight 53-pound design makes for easy portability, while the ultra- efficient 1.27-gallon tank provides up to 5.6 hours of half-load run time. The fully-packed panel comes equipped with two three-prong 120V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, one 12V DC receptacle, one 120V TT-30R RV receptacle, an intelligent data meter, and two 5V USB ports. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the eco-mode button. This allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel, preventing the unnecessary usage of gasoline. Need more energy? I run a business with vehicles that use large, very expensive generators. Ive bought dozens over the past few years. Recently one of my diesel generators went down. I purchased this unit as a temporary assist while repairs were performed. It was expected to provide half the power needed, but enough as we use breakers to turn on and off equipment t as needed. This little unit out performed much larger, heavier products. It can be carried off the vehicle to use, runs flawlessly and always starts easily. It's quiet, and has a 30amp port,which is unheard of on a compact. All for a fraction of what I've paid for my other back up units and half the size. I'm looking at joining a second unit to permanently replace my $14,000 unit that constantly breaks. I cannot endorse this unit enough. ... show more

Finally pulled the trigger on this after many months of watching reviews between this Wen 3600w and the identical Champion 4000w. The features of this Wen, with the digital data center for fuel gage, load, voltage, and run time pushed me towards this over the Champion. The Champion has none of that. This model, being identical to the Champion is rated a 100w less running watts at 2900w vs 3000w. That 100w just doesn't make the difference for me. The price difference is also significant, with the Wen being around $150 cheaper between the Dual Fuel models. I have switch to this Wen 3600w for my camp trailer from the much larger Champion 4500w Dual Fuel, simply due to size and weight. The Champion 4500 Dual Fuel is 100+lbs and an absolute pain to load and haul around, and is way more wattage than I could ever need in my small Jayco 184BH. Still planning to keep the Champion 4500 as home power backup though. This Wen comes in at 49lbs with oil added, and much easier to handle loading in and out of my truck. The noise level on this Wen is noticeably louder on eco mod and especially when running with higher loads. But that's the trade off. And it makes sense. The Champion 4500 has a larger 212cc engine that rarely needs to idle up to produce the power I need and they're just quietter to begin with, where this Wen has a 149cc engine that needs to rev up to hit the same output. At idle, the noise is very tolerable. There are many videos on YouTube for this model I suggest watching, showing decibel readings and comparing to other generators in the class, as well as a shootout between the Wen 3600w and matching Champion 4000w I have modified the included propane attachment with quick connect fittings, to utilize the output on my trailer. Very easy modification. The fittings can be purchased here on Amazon for around $15. I have also purchased a couple 12ft quick connect propane hoses so I can run the generator out and away from my trailer a bit to cut down on noise. I'm still in the break-in process, and plan on changing the oil every hour for the first 6hrs to keep flushing out dirty oil. And cycling the load between 0-50%. Once this is done I will put this thing into regular service and plan to change the oil every 25hrs or so with full synthetic. This is oil change interval is overkill, but clean oil is cheap insurance, and hopefully keeps this thing up and running for thousands of hours to come. One thing I have noticed is it seemed to run a bit rough after initial start up, but after 1.5hrs of running it has really smoothed out. Overall I am very pleased with this unit. The size, weight, and power output is great! I will update my review in the future if this falls short of my expectations. UPDATE... After 56.6 hrs of use, this thing has been amazing! Seems to have really smoothed out and even gotten a bit quieter with some use. It's handled every load I've put it through with my trailer. A/C usage, air fryer, microwave, fridge and hot water heater.... its ran everything I've needed without needing to be conscious of shutting one thing down to power the other. I ran this thing 40+hrs over a 6 day 4th of July camping trip and it did not disappoint. Added a magnetic oil dip sticks, and after a 30hr oil change interval there was only a small bit of pasty residue on the magnet. Zero larger shavings. Still very happy with that purchase. ... show more

We recently lost power for 36 hours, and this WEN 3600-Watt Portable Inverter Generator was worth every penny. I bought it for "just in case" emergencies, and I'm so glad I did. It kept our fridge and freezer running the entire time, saving us from losing hundreds of dollars worth of food. I was also able to run a few fans to keep the house bearable in the summer heat. It started up quickly, ran smoothly, and was surprisingly quiet compared to other generators I've heard. The fuel efficiency was great - I didn't feel like I was constantly refilling it. It's also light enough to move around when needed. If you want peace of mind during an outage, this is the one to get. It turned a miserable situation into something manageable ... show more

Love this generator! It’s very quiet and starts first pull most every time. Runs my older camp trailer without issue. Runs all lights, refrigerator and battery charger with ease. I do not have an ac unit so I can’t say if it will work well with your ac running. It is easy to start if you’re concerned about age or messy joints. I have both and can start it with ease.
