Remember when you had clean and quiet portable power? The WEN 4500-Watt Inverter Generator provides clean energy, free of voltage spikes and drops, without all the noise of a regular generator. Produce up to 4500 surge watts and 3600 rated watts of power. Our 181cc engine operates at a modest 62 decibels at quarter load. This limits its invasiveness while camping, hunting, tailgating, and restoring backup power. The WEN 4500W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing for the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. The lightweight 53-pound design makes for easy portability, while the ultra- efficient 1.27-gallon tank provides up to 5.6 hours of half-load run time. The fully-packed panel comes equipped with two three-prong 120V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, one 12V DC receptacle, one 120V TT-30R RV receptacle, an intelligent data meter, and two 5V USB ports. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the eco-mode button. This allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel, preventing the unnecessary usage of gasoline. Need more energy? Easily link up any two 120V WEN inverter generators using a WEN 120V Parallel Connection Kit (sold separately) in order to share wattage amongst multiple units. Low-oil and low-fuel automatic shutdown combine with the built-in overload protection and indicator lights to safeguard both your generator and your electronics from damage. Best bang for the buck power and price and quality generatot generator

I bought a small teardrop camper and needed a generator to power it off grid. I originally bought a Honda EU3000 2800 rated watts. It’s a Honda nothing bad to say. Except it was just slightly underpowered and you have to be selective when running the 13,500 AC unit. After doing extensive online research I was considering a 2nd booster generator to run in parallel with Honda. I found a great deal on this Wen 4500 and bang for the buck it’s awesome. It’s got 3600 rated watts and you can run the AC and fridge and the microwave simultaneously. Which the Honda won’t. The Wen has 800 extra rated watts and it’s 53 pounds compared to the Honda’s 131 pounds. The Honda’s built out of steel it’s like a tank. But it’s not portable. The Wen is plasticky but it makes more power and it’s 78 pounds lighter. The wen actually has more features like built in hour meter and output monitor and those are handy to have. If I owned a food truck and was operating the generator 5-6-7 days a week I suspect I would buy the Honda. But you need to be realistic and consider what your actual needs are?. I feel like I have buyers remorse and I regret not buying the Wen 4500 and I got it on sale on Amazon for 30% off… The Wen is slightly louder than the Honda but factoring in sale price I could’ve bought literally SIX Wen generators for the price I paid for the Honda. It’s exceeding my expectations. The only drawbacks with Wen are no dual fuel and 1.27 gallon fuel capacity. For example today running the AC and fridge the run time was only 3 hours. That’s about 1800 watts or 1/2 load and 3 hours run time I’m sure would be a deal breaker for some people?. In contrast that Honda EU3000 with 3.4 gallons of fuel I’ve seen it run 20 hours on 1/4 load. However there’s remote fuel tank options to extend Wen run time. I’ve read complaints about Wen chineses quality… I personally believe if you take care of your generator it will take care of you. Some people like to complain but they fail to mention their lack of maintenance. My understanding is the Wen has a 3 year warranty. For the price I paid compared to the Honda that’s a combined 18 year warranty the way I see it. Just saying the Wen feels like a high quality piece of equipment. Not Honda quality but considerably cheaper. I would buy it again for sure. I hope this helps?. ... show more

Best size for running a RV

Nice Generator. My RV AC alone uses 1500 watts. If you want to run this on Eco mode, it will do the job very easy with power to spare. You can get more run time on Eco mode. Almost double. Wish this model came with duel fuel.

PLEASE READ! BUYER BEWARE don't set unit on the ground!

BUYER BEWARE- PLEASE READ!! *** I WISH WE WOULD HAVE READ REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING- BIG DESIGN FLAW AND NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE *** We purchased this generator for camping purposes. Once it arrived we took out of the box, added oil and gas per the instructions. Started right up like a dream but IMMEDIATELY after, it started running extremely loud. We shut it off completely. My husband took the cover off and the unit had sand throughout the entire unit! Sand was coming out the engine. It appears the unit sucks up dirt from the bottom of the unit. We tried contacting contacting WEN for assistance with no response to our emails and inquiries thru their site. We contacted Amazon customer service who apologized and offered a full refund or replacement as "it seems we were sent a defective item." 2 days later we received an email from Amazon stating they were canceling the refund they offered, we never asked for as we just need to get in touch with the manufacturer but haven't heard anything. We reached back out to Amazon who said there's nothing they can do and this is "a non returnable item." We've sent multiple inquiries to WEN with no response. We are left with a brand new WEN generator that ran once and is full of sand. Maybe this was a fluke but hopefully others dont experience this. We highly recommend placing the unit on a solid surface to avoid any suction from the bottom like we experienced. Or you may just want to save yourself the headache and $, dont buy this generator!! ... show more

Nice affordable generator

Used this little inverter on my house for 120v appliances. Works great and is decently quiet for the price. powers my fridge, boiler, lights and a tv while power is out. Pretty light weight for a generator and can be carried around easily. Comes with a floating nuetral out of the box so you dont double bond your house. ... show more

Poor design

Do not buy a wen generator I got the 4500 and have had it for a month and it locked up on me the air intake is located on the bottom of the unit and it pulled in a dirt which got buy the air filter and locked up it up this is a poor design I don’t feel I should have to sit on a hard surface every time I use it I contacted them and they have not responded to me ... show more
