Description

Remember when you had clean and quiet portable power? The WEN 4500-Watt Inverter Generator provides clean energy, free of voltage spikes and drops, without all the noise of a regular generator. Produce up to 4500 surge watts and 3600 rated watts of power. Our 181cc engine operates at a modest 62 decibels at quarter load. This limits its invasiveness while camping, hunting, tailgating, and restoring backup power. The WEN 4500W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing for the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. The lightweight 53-pound design makes for easy portability, while the ultra- efficient 1.27-gallon tank provides up to 5.6 hours of half-load run time. The fully-packed panel comes equipped with two three-prong 120V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, one 12V DC receptacle, one 120V TT-30R RV receptacle, an intelligent data meter, and two 5V USB ports. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the eco-mode button. This allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel, preventing the unnecessary usage of gasoline. Need more energy? Easily link up any two 120V WEN inverter generators using a WEN 120V Parallel Connection Kit (sold separately) in order to share wattage amongst multiple units. Power is not clean, TV will have much static on it, tried grounding to ground rod, didnt help, used at jobsite, liked that it was lightweight & portable, set on ground, ran power tools great, until the intake clogged with sand, the air intake is on bottom of the machine, terrible design for that being generators are ment to be used outside, and air intake on the ground is not a good idea. Great generator! Very quiet compared to other generators I have had in the past and it was a good amount cheaper than the others. Easy to use, compact and easy to carry and transport. Very durable and lasts hours on one tank of fuel. Must have for emergencies or even parties in the park!

I have this 4500 WEN generator on a construction site running an air conditioner, lights and fans in a guard shack in the south Florida heat. It has been running every day for 10+ hours a day for over seven months now and it performs perfectly. I change the oil once a month and that’s about it….. buy it it’s reliable!!! ... show more

BUYER BEWARE- PLEASE READ!! *** I WISH WE WOULD HAVE READ REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING- BIG DESIGN FLAW AND NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE *** We purchased this generator for camping purposes. Once it arrived we took out of the box, added oil and gas per the instructions. Started right up like a dream but IMMEDIATELY after, it started running extremely loud. We shut it off completely. My husband took the cover off and the unit had sand throughout the entire unit! Sand was coming out the engine. It appears the unit sucks up dirt from the bottom of the unit. We tried contacting contacting WEN for assistance with no response to our emails and inquiries thru their site. We contacted Amazon customer service who apologized and offered a full refund or replacement as "it seems we were sent a defective item." 2 days later we received an email from Amazon stating they were canceling the refund they offered, we never asked for as we just need to get in touch with the manufacturer but haven't heard anything. We reached back out to Amazon who said there's nothing they can do and this is "a non returnable item." We've sent multiple inquiries to WEN with no response. We are left with a brand new WEN generator that ran once and is full of sand. Maybe this was a fluke but hopefully others dont experience this. We highly recommend placing the unit on a solid surface to avoid any suction from the bottom like we experienced. Or you may just want to save yourself the headache and $, dont buy this generator!! ... show more
