This hose is slightly less robust (thick) than the translucent hose from HF, but unless your shop design requires moving the hose a lot, that shouldn't be an issue. Also, as HF doesn't appear to stock their hose in-store, by the time one pays freight, this Wen hose via Amazon (with no-additional freight) is the better price. The Wen hose fits the various attachments just fine and is quite clear, so should there be a blockage, it will be easy to see. ... show more

This hose sucks but in the case of what the product is that's actually a good thing. I'm getting great air flow through this hose and at first I thought I was going to need to cut it down because it's kind of a short run less than 10 ft but this hose kind of just bunches together unless pulled, so that it wasn't even necessary to cut it and it's still getting great flow. The product worked we'll and cut easily. It is PVC reinforced - no wire, making it easy to curve. The only issue I have with it is, it has a strong plastic odor that takes a while to dissipate.

This does exactly what it's supposed to do. The issue I have is smell.. This hose smells TERRIBLE!!! I've had it for months and you can still smell it like it was brand new... I filled a kiddie pool with soapy water and soaked it for days!! Even put it in our regular sized swimming pool for a few days.. Nothing helped.. Smells like sweet raw garbage... If you have a rotting corpse in your shop, this will cover the smell!! ... show more
