It is very rarely that I like a scent and see it working for many people. I also find deodorants and perfumes too sweet, too flowery or too something offensive in general. My best guy says I have a supernatural sense of smell and his is probably right as I can smell even when people are about to get sick. Well... in any case, this is a great scent and it doesn't smell artificial either. It hasn't bothered my skin not even once and it lasts okay for just a deodorant with no bad stuff in. My best guy also said he loved it for a while and he must have used it for about half a year before he went back to the aluminum bad stuff--because he felt not secure enough for the summer sweating. But let me check again with him... (calling him) "Yes, I would recommend it. I would say it is very good for about 6 to 8 hours and then it starts to wear off. But I would say this. I looooove the way it smells. It doesn't smell like sage, it smells like a really fresh clean smell. I really like how it smelled. It became my quick freshen up deodorant. Few quick sprays and I would go out. The ladies would go crazy when I wore it. I couldn't even get to the bottom of my stairs before the ladies got interested." Okay so yes, I guess we both recommend it. But I am upset now about the ladies downstairs...

I have been using Weleda Sage deodorant for years now. Amazon definitely has the cheapest price around - at natural grocery stores it is usually about $12-15 a pop. This stuff is really amazing - it is the only natural deodorant I have ever used that actually works (besides one other kind that you have to special order from Brooklyn.... more about that later.) It has an amazing lavender/sage smell and it is in a pump bottle. It is alcohol based, so you have to be okay with that, but I think that's why it actually works. I have really tried every other kind of natural deodorant - all of the stuff that people swear by never worked for me. Alba, Tom's the Crystal - none of it works until I found this kind, That being said - it does not work quite as well as aluminum-based regular anti-perspirant, especially if you are a big sweater. I am not that big of a sweater and more concerned about B.O. that actual sweating. You have to put this on right out of the shower or wash off before you use it for it to truly work but it does work. I ended up finding this amazing deodorant that people swear by that I use on really hot days and in the summer and I mostly now use the Weleda for when it's not so hot outside. The other deodorant is called "Soapwalla" cream deodorant. You can only get it online or from these special shops in Brooklyn. It is made in the hipster's kitchen. It is amazing and works as good as any deodorant, even for big sweaters. It is pretty expensive but I highly recommend it. The only thing I don't like about it is that you have to put it on with your fingers - it comes in a little jar. I much prefer my Weleda for day-to-day but the Soapwalla is great for the big jobs when I really don't want to sweat.

This stuff is great. The bottle lasts forever. The fragrances are not too strong and I don't worry about putting a bunch of strong chemicals on delicate skin so close to important body parts! I like the rose a lot more than the sage though. The rose was a soft floral smell. When I saw sage I was thinking of turkey stuffing. This sage is more like medicinal desert plants. Although it would probably be great for men. It's fine on me after it wears off a bit, I just don't like it much when I first spray it. Oh, and as a deodorant, it works as good or better than any of the other natural brands I've tried. Which basically means if you're sweating a lot you'll probably need to reapply it once during the day. Also, if you've been using normal deodorant, it might take a week or two for this deodorant to work well for you. I think it has something to do with your body chemistry adjusting to this formula and also getting all the other old stuff washed out of your pores. But I'm not an armpit scientist so... Finally, Weleda is a cruelty-free brand. No animals were harmed in the making of my non-stinky armpit!

The only reason I gave it three stars is because it smells good out of the bottle and doesn’t irritate my armpits. But it definitely does not control the smell for longer than an hour at best. I have to reapply constantly. It’s fine around the house, but looking for something better when I go out.

I thought this might be a good natural deodorant, but I am disappointed. It has a nice scent, goes on very smoothly. But if you are active at all and work up a sweat, it does NOT do the trick. Very bad body odor. Will not purchase again. Very disappointing
