This 50 ft. roll of 24" tall welded wire fence works great around my bean box and adds an extra layer of protection around my other plants and flowers. We put up some fencing that is a taller and sturdier around the plants and then will use this as the second layer of fencing. Even though this fencing is only 24" tall, we have found that if we put two layers of fence around a flower bed, about 8-10 inches apart, the deer will not attempt to get to the flowers/plants because they won't step between the two fence layers. This wire fencing has a good thickness to it and feels sturdy but it is also bendable and easy to work with. I can mold it tightly around the corners of my bean growing box, which is a rectangular shape. The size of the openings in the wire (2" x 3") works well at keeping animals from coming through the fence but likely won't keep many animals in or out at just 24" in height if it's just a single layer of fence with no top on it. My rabbits can easily hop out of a 24" open top pen and it wouldn't contain a puppy or a cat. Unless this fencing is tightly stretched and staked, the rabbits may also be able to bend the wire when attempting to dig underneath of it. Overall, this fencing will work well as a second layer of fencing for me and the value is good and comparable to other rolls of wire fencing that I have looked at. The wire is sturdy, easy to cut with small wire cutters, and easy to install. They included zip ties for fastening which hold tightly and are sturdy also. The wire fencing can also be stapled if desired. They also included a pair of gloves for working with the fencing. I would purchase this wire fencing again.

I was looking for something to place along our broken wooden fence line since one of our dogs is always looking for a way out of the yard. This field fence is very nice. The coating on the wire is even and smooth with no drips or runs. The wire is sturdy yet still thin enough to cut with basic wire cutters. I have been using this for several small applications. Mostly trying to keep the critters out of my small vegetable beds. So far, they have stopped both the rabbits and armadillos that had been terrorizing my seedlings. The best part about this fencing is that it is way cheaper here than at the big box store.
