We have 8 chickens, 2 roosters and 6 hens, and they each live in their respective runs. We are completely new to chickens, and everything is a learning experience, especially with their housing. Initially we’ve used coated octagon chicken fencing and they came with some decently sturdy zip ties. But 6 months in the dry Colorado sun, and they are starting to break and my hens are getting out. It’s made worse by our Irish Wolfhound puppy who jumps on their fence trying to play with them. I wanted something stronger to reinforce the base of the run, but still allow the chickens to see out of their run and each other. The height and strength of this fencing is exactly what I needed, and the rectangular links of the fence are 2 inches by 3 inches so adult chickens can’t escape but can still see their other half! The fence is very sturdy, especially for a shipped fence. It is coated with plastic/pvc and helps prevent rust and hard edges or corners that could poke your chickens. It is accurate to the listed specs of 50ft long by 2 ft high. And easy to install with wire fence ties (can also be purchased on Amazon for like $12), it maintains its shape and doesn’t buckle or fall. We do have support bars every 4-6 feet so I am unsure of its stability if you don’t have any posts. It also will be great for making a small fence around my garden this spring, so my chickens don’t destroy my veggies while foraging. It’s good quality, a decent price, and it gets delivered to your front door so no trips to the home improvement or farm stores. It’s not fancy but it does the job of keeping our chickens in and we’re confident they can’t break through this one.

This is exactly what it says it is. It seems well made, and the coating is nice. It would be great for a chicken tractor. It may need reinforce if you’re in an area with a high predator load. The wire is fairly flexible. Overall it’s nice to have on hand for various farm projects.

I got this welded wire fence to section off part of my yard for some light gardening and to keep my dog from getting into areas he shouldn’t. The roll is 24 inches high and 50 feet long, which worked well for my setup. The mesh size (2" x 3") is just right—small enough to keep things like rabbits out, but open enough to still see through easily. The wire feels sturdy and well-made. It’s 16 gauge, and while it’s not super heavy-duty, it holds its shape and doesn’t flop around while you're working with it. The black PVC coating is a nice touch—it gives a cleaner look than plain wire and adds a layer of protection against weather. It’s been out in the elements for a few weeks now and still looks the same as when I installed it. Cutting it takes a bit of effort, so make sure you have decent wire cutters. Once it's cut and in place, though, it stays put with no sagging. I used it with some T-posts and it attached securely without much hassle. Overall, it's functional, durable enough for everyday garden use, and the size is manageable for small projects. It does what I needed it to do without any surprises.

This wire mesh fence worked perfectly for our makeshift chicken run built under the stairs. It’s easy to shape and flexible enough for tight spaces, yet sturdy enough for our needs. The material cuts cleanly without leaving sharp, pokey edges, which made installation safer and hassle-free. I bought this fence to reinforce the thin chicken wire on my run after a couple raccoons were breaking in and having pool parties and eating snacks in the middle of the night as my chickens slept. We attached it easily and securely around the perimeter of the run right on the top of the other wire for an extra, secure layer and it did the job and there have been no more intruders. This was priced well, and it’s well made. Job well done

I like that the wire is coated, and the black coating makes the wire almost invisible when it is up. I am using it to reinforce windows in my chicken coop. I was a bit concerned with some spots on the roll that were bent or mangled. But it is advertised as a light duty wire, so I can't complain too much about the wire's strength. It does, however, look like something during the manufacturing processes caused a little damage to the wire. It is still very usable, and you can bend the wire back into place once you open the roll. But if I can bend it with my bare hands, a predator will be able to bend it to wiggle through. I am attaching hardware cloth to the welded wire, so it is strong enough to keep predators out when you add a second layer of some type of wire.

I examined the roll and found no damage, strong welds, and has nice black vinyl covering. Mesh spacing of 2"x3" is a good size. I have used plenty of welded wire fencing over the decades and this brand appears to be top quality. I have confidence this fence will hold up to the weather for years. Will work great to close off my garden from the dogs.
