This is a solid, good-looking welded wire that we expect to work well for garden and yard protection, with a couple practical considerations. The 16-gauge wire with the black PVC coating feels substantial without being overly stiff. It cuts cleanly with proper wire cutters and easily shaped around a post in trial. The coating gives it a smooth finish and should help with rust resistance over time, which is important for us since it will live outdoors through wet seasons. The 2" x 3" openings are open enough to see through and not block light, but small enough to deter most small critters and curious poultry. It’s worth noting that while it holds its shape well when secured, it’s not intended to contain larger or determined animals on its own, especially at only 24" high. Installing posts first and then attaching the fencing helps prevent unnecessary bending or distortion. In our case, this will be wrapped around young transplants coming out of the greenhouse and also placed around the base of newly planted trees and shrubs to protect them from nibblers until they’re established. We’re still in snow season, so it hasn’t been in use yet, but based on construction and coating quality, this appears to be a very good value for the price and should serve well for seasonal and long-term garden use.

This fencing is decent quality, although at 16 gauge, it's pretty flexible & easy to bend. That makes it easier to install, but of course it's also more prone to being bent by people and animal activity happening around it. The 2 x 3 weave is a little wide, so it may or may not be effective depending upon what you're trying to keep out (or in). The black coating not only resists rust but also helps it to blend into the landscape better than plain galvanized silver. For whatever reason, the info sheet on mine doesn't indicate the size, but whatever. It's nice that it comes with 100 zip ties, but on the flip side, only 10 landscape pins, which is obviously insufficient for the amount of fencing.

Great product for lighter duty yard needs. The wire thickness is medium, making it easy to work with, malleable but also sturdy and not so stiff that it's difficult to roll out. Comes tightly rolled, secured with plastic, and packed in a box with accessories. Easy for storing until ready for use. The PVC coating makes it rust resistant and is good for so many uses. The welds are good and with the coating it's not sharp to handle. Very considerately, comes with gloves, zip ties, and a few landscape staples. I ordered the 24 inch width for use in my garden to create trellises and barriers to critters wanting to invade my planter boxes. I think it is a great value for the money, but it isn't meant for heavy duty uses.
