  • Good battery even better customer service
Style: YTX20L
great price, decent battery, fantastic customer service!! Battery died 60 days after purchase, seller immediately sent a replacement for the battery. Even though it was past the 30 day refund window from Amazon!! I ordered this battery from this seller in February. The battery worked great until it didn’t. Idk what happened or why but the battery out of nowhere went completely dead. my bike started I began backing out of my driveway. I was low on fuel so I turned my bike off to close my garage and when I went to turn the bike back on I got nothing, zip, nada. At first i thought my ignition switch was dead so I swapped it with my old one. Still nothing. That’s when I said okay I’ll swap the battery to my old Harley one. Bike was slow to crank as the battery was dying, hence this replacement. But nonetheless the bike turned on and cranked over eventually. I hooked up the battery to my charger and it was so dead it wasn’t reading it at all. Knowing most motorcycle batteries usually get no warranty or only 3/6/12 months if it’s a fancy expensive battery. I read through the item descriptions and all I saw was 30 day amazon returns. It was past 30 days at this point. I was thinking oh well, serves me for buying a cheap battery even with the high reviews. But then said what the heck, Ill send an email to the seller inquiring about warranty anyways. i got nothing to lose. First reply back they asked for a couple pics showing the trickle charger I used and the info on it. (I think I might of actually bought it from this same seller ARKPOWER) And a photo of the battery on a multimeter which showed -0.07 volts. They responded back within a couple hours on a Friday night and asked to confirm address to ship a replacement. Wow, Totally awesome! the seller went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Definitely recommend buying this as a oem replacement for an older EVO Harley. If the replacement dies in less than 90 days I’ll come update but my rating won’t change since I technically shouldnt of got a replacement anyways. But even if it does, I’d definitely buy from this seller again. Super satisfied with the customer service, so much so I logged in to write this review!! ... show more

  • Worked well.
Style: YTX20HL
It came very well packaged. Was an exact size of the original battery. It was already charged up to the maximum. I did test the voltage before installing as the warranty pamphlet stated. Fit well with new screws. Works perfectly.

  • 2nd second time I purchased and happy with the product
Style: YTX20HL
This is the second one thatI have bought. The first one lasted over four years on my Kawasaki mule. The price is great and the cold cranking amps fires it right up. I would suggest putting a trickle charger on them for the winter and durability should be 3 to 4 years.

  • This Battery was a Good Buy
Style: YTX20L
Worked well in the wife's Waverunner. It's a 2022 VX Cruiser. Her audio system drains the battery - guess it's a known problem. I put a battery switch on it and it's fine now.

  • Very difficult to install
Style: YTX20L
Replacing batteries in a motorcycle is something I have to do every couple years. The bike does not get ridden frequently and I don't keep a battery tender on it as I don't have power where it is stored. This is my first time buying this brand. I had been using another brand that fit in the bike very well and was easy to install. My only concern was they did not seem to last very long so I wanted to try another brand. I saw good ratings on this battery and looking at the specs it seemed to be the correct fit for the bike. The actual publish measurements was actually 1/10 of an inch smaller than what I had been using. I received the battery and on inspection it looked very good. Well packed. I unpacked and put on a battery tender to bring it up to full charge. It stayed there for a week or two due to travel and other activities. A nice Saturday morning came and I wanted to get the bike out for a ride. I grabbed the battery and went to install in the bike, normally about a 5 minute activity. The first thing I encountered was it was actually larger than my last battery. I have a Harley and the battery box required the battery to be have very specific dimensions. This one is a bit too large and it was a tight fit to get it into the battery box. That turned out to be the least of the challenges on the install. Attaching the cables to the battery terminals involves inserting the supplied nuts into the terminal slots. The gap on the battery terminals where the nuts go in is so large that the nut would fall out or if I managed to keep it from falling out, the nut would get push to the back side of the slot and the terminal screw could not reach it. After about 20 mins trying to get them to stay in I knew I had to come up with another solution. It was obvious that I needed something that I could use as a shim to hold the nut toward the front of the terminal slot and prevent it from falling out when putting in the screw. After considering several materials I spotted a styrofoam cup. I grabbed some scissors and cut a strip out then folded it to fit tightly into the terminal slot. With that in place I inserted the nut which now is held tightly in place and at the front of the terminal slot. The styrofoam worked well because if easily formed around the nut to hold it in place. I should point out that I used the nuts from the previous battery because they were actually rectangular in shape as they should be and the supplied were hex nuts. Very poorly thought out. The battery is new and starts the bike well. I can't speak to the longevity of the battery because I have not had it long enough. I won't be purchasing this battery again regardless. The fitment problem and installation issues it's not worth it. ... show more
