The bike itself is solid and it didn't take long for my son to learn to ride it. My issues with it are (1) the hand brakes are pretty cheap and difficult to install so that they work properly and (2) the instructions have details for different bike options and the illustrations are poor so assembly was more difficult than it should have been.     • Get these but get a 13mm wrench too

These are nice bikes. The box says to have certain mm wrenches handy. They didn't mention a 13mm wrench. Other than that they were pretty straightforward to put together and the kids loved them. We got a black/red one and the blue/orange one. The blue one is colorful and fun. The black one is more "adult-ish" which kinda sucks when you're giving them to brothers. I wish they had a red "kiddish" looking one. Nevertheless the boys loved them and they will have room to grow into them while being able to ride them now. ... show more

It’s a great bike but it’s annoying and kinda dangerous that the training wheels come loose and it’s just on one side other than that it’s a nice bike but they need to figure that adjustment out esp one that can be potentially scary for a kid riding and then falling out of nowhere.

Cute bike. Poor quality, Handle bars refuse to tighten making it impossible or unsafe to ride. Would be to much of a hassle to disassemble attempt to re box and attempt return. Just skip this purchase.

Seems like a high quality product, better build quality and price than national chain department store. Yes, I recommend this product, make sure you get the right size, our was a little big for our 8 years old, but it will be perfect for him next years through probably the age of 14.
