    • Good images, WiFi works well
The media could not be loaded. For such a small and inexpensive camera, this one works really well. The WiFi connects through the RoadCam app, which is easy to set up. With the app you use your phone to control the camera and can see what it sees. When the camera connects to the phone, it automatically sets the time to your phone's time. You can elect whether or not to have the photos and videos time-stamped. When you start or stop recording or take a picture a female voice announces what you've just done. All settings must be controlled through the app—there is no way to change settings directly on the camera. When entering a dark area, the infrared lights can be set to come on automatically, and you can hear a little click as the camera switches between regular and infrared mode. The IR lights are virtually invisible to the human eye, but illuminate objects out to about 15 feet (4.75 meters). There are also two white LED lights to illuminate the scene. The user manual indicates that they are turned on by the WiFi button, but I found that they are actually turned on by holding the mic button that's used for making audio recordings. Quick-pressing the WiFi button turns on red and blue flashing lights and a siren that's loud enough to be heard a few feet away. You'll need very good eyesight or a magnifying glass to be able to read all the markings in the manual. I turned the clip around and put it on the front of the camera so it could go inside my shirt pocket, because with it on the back the camera can pull down on the pocket and point down at the ground. Let’s see the CONS first: Records in .AVI format. Bitrate recording is as high as 26Mb/s, zero image stabilization, night vision is abysmal (this is definitely no STARVIS sensor), buttons are small and hard to press if you have gloves on, clip only allows for height adjustment no swivel. Microphone is useless - you can hear only muffled sounds. FOV is pretty bad as well but effective recording range is only 5 feet or less at best. Rolling shutter when running. Overall this device is really meant to be a stationery recording device. PROS: Small, discrete. Battery life is enough (turn on only when you need to record, otherwise it will kill the battery fast but I’d be more concerned about storage space (explained below). 1080p with caveats. App works fine to connect and configure settings - in fact, it’s required to change date/time. PRICE is low and quality is ok for the price. Comes with Kingston 64GB microSD storage card (cannot confirm if genuine). Rolling shutter is present but not as bad when walking - unless you start running while recording then it is very typical rolling shutter quality (bad). If you’re going to be recording in full 1080p, it’s at 30fps and bit rate is going to be around 26Mb/s depending on light conditions. It is around 500MB for every 2.5minutes of footage. I used this as a body cam in the daytime and the field of view is so small, you can’t see your right or left hands when it’s centered on your front torso. It’s even worse when you mount it around your t-shirt neckline. There’s no image stabilizing built in and no h.264 hardware hence the price. The video you’re gonna get if you use as a body cam is sufficient to prove if the person in front of you was at fault during an altercation. Don’t bother with low light it will be mostly unusable. Bright afternoon daylight the image quality (frame by frame) is clear enough with a distance of around 5ft to the camera. But the FOV is so narrow, it’s only usable as a body cam up close. It’s easy to press the buttons to record video if you don’t have gloves on but it’s too small to be easy and convenient when wearing gloves. The app is easy to download on iOS and will sync with the cam easily. You can’t adjust time and date it automatically does this when you sync with your device. I just remove the microSD card and grab whatever I need off of the storage medium. I’ve attached a single image of a fence - even up close and not moving, you cannot see all the details of the cedar wood but can make out quite a bit of detail in bright afternoon sunlight. Due to the fact I use it primarily as a body cam, I will say that it will help you in the situation where you just need to record something rather than have nothing. But I will never rely on this device as a security detail camera it is just not meant for real security work recording. The audio is terrible, the video itself is nothing worth noting about and overall the advantage is it’s discrete. Get a real professional body camera that has a better camera sensor. Something that is dedicated as a body camera. Something that tries to do multiple things ends up being terrible at everything. ... show more

Compact and easy to activate when needed. Instructions could be clearer. Purchased so I had an easy option to video while driving, without having to use my phone.

    • Not worth it
I am unable to use some of the cameras features because the app for the camera doesn’t work. The camera sometimes makes a constant clicking sound every second for about 30 seconds . The stabilization is poor. I will return it.

This camera was a little tricky to get set up but after a few attempts i finally got it to work . The instructions were not clear so there was a lot of trial & error involved . The audio is not the greatest and the video is a little grainy . I do like that it comes with a 64G memory card and it is small enough to clip to a shirt very easily without being clunky . ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The WIIBDIE body camera is very small and light but comes packed with a lot of features. It can do Full HD video recording (with audio), voice recording, and photos. I have uploaded a video showing fast flowing water coming out from a dam into a river with a cloud cover. The video and audio quality of the recoding is amazing. I have shown pictures of the camera on a standard notebook next to a ball point pen, to show how small this camera really is. You can stream the video from the camera to your cellphone over a private WiFi stream. The same button allows you to turn on a siren or flashing red/blue light to attract attention if you are in an unsafe situation. The camera charges the internal battery very quickly using the included USB-C cable. Also included are the lapel clip and a lanyard so you can choose how you wear the mini body camera. If you prefer you can mount on a flexible tripod (included). The kit comes with a 64GB SD card. I have tested all the features and will be using this camera as an action camera. Care should be taken when using this camera in private places or regions where video/audio recordings of people in public places is not allowed.
