Improved rubber controller cup in the section the controller goes into ensures not only the controller stays put and eliminate any play or wobble, but that it doesn't get scratched. Lock the controller by whirl the screw thread button clockwise. Unlock the controller by whirl the screw thread button counterclockwise

  • Great for golf sim with oculus 3

Used this to play a VR golf game with the quest 3 and it has worked flawlessly. Holds the controller tightly and works seemlessly with the headset

  • a great VR golf club!
Color: 90 DEGREE VERSION
great product! all metal construction feels really sturdy and secure. I have no issues or concerns of the controller flying out of the club, just with the screw down clamp, but when you add the tying of the wrist strap, I have zero concerns. The extra weights really make a difference in adding a sense of reality to my swing! highly recommend. The only added feature I wish this had was a longer club shaft for even more realistic feeling. ... show more

  • I do NOT recommend this product!
Color: 90 DEGREE VERSION
Let's face it, when it comes to Amazon reviews, the only thing that matters for customers are either 5-star (recommend) or 1-star (avoid) reviews; it simply boils down to if a legitimate purchaser of an item can confidently recommend a product or advise future purchasers against wasting their money. With that said, after steadily using this item for a week, I can firmly say I do not recommend this product! After spending days browsing the various golf club attachments designed to work with the Quest 3's controllers, including watching many video reviews, I settled on this one due to it's unique metal construction -- most attachments are made of simple plastic. I figured the metal would offer an added sense of security that my more expensive device (the controller) and any personal belongings within range would remain free from any potentially disastrous accidents, but after steadily using the club every day for about a week, I no longer feel safe in its construction. I'm going to list off all the negatives I've discovered while using this particular accessory: 1.) All the metal threaded connections are loose -- by that I mean each threaded connection has a slight bit of give or wobble. This is especially concerning for the cup that holds the controller, because that has to be continuously loosened and tightened indefinitely as you would be constantly removing the controller to play non-golf games and then reinserting it when you're ready to golf again. If you're someone who hops between different types of games often, this could mean removing and reinserting the controller every day. All that constant adjustment to an already loose connection leaves me feeling concerned that it will further wear out and stop securely holding the controller. Additionally, the threaded connection of the grip shaft to the L shaped bracket (which holds the controller cup) is also loose and constantly loosens further while playing -- I've had to retighten the connection after nearly every stroke, which is a terrible user experience. 2.) The tie off for the wrist strap is attached to the cup itself meaning there's no real security there. Let me explain: the construction of this club accessory is that the grip shaft threads into the L bracket which then holds the cup, by only four very small screws. The controller goes into the cup and as you're inserting the controller you drop the wrist strap down through a hole first -- the hole is part of the cup attachment, not the L bracket. The wrist strap can then be looped through a metal slot to tie it off and provide added security; however, the metal slot is ALSO on the cup attachment! So really, all of your security rests solely on these four tiny screws holding the cup attachment to the L bracket, if those fail and the cup attachment can detach itself, no matter how tightly the cup is gripping the controller, nor how well you tied off the wrist strap, the entire attachment along with your controller will be sent flying, almost certainly damaging not only your controller but whatever unfortunate thing in the environment happens to receive the blow. The tie off should have been part of the L bracket, so at least if the cup did somehow detach -- and I honestly do not trust these four tiny screws to hold this thing on over long term use -- then the wrist strap tied off to a separate part of the club would at least stop the cup and controller from flying away. 3.) The weights are too much and too heavy. You can actually remove all three weights on this thing; the first two smaller weights are alan-keyed into the bigger, heavier weight. Once you use the alan-key to loosen and remove the two lighter weights, you can unscrew the heavier weight from the shaft as well; although it took me a lot of force and I actually injured my hand doing it, but it is just another threaded connection that can be unscrewed. A pity that of all the threaded connections this one was the tightest and most secured that I had to injure myself to loosen it. Now, because the club requires the biggest weight to be on in order to use either of the smaller weights -- the biggest one has to be on the threads, and the smaller ones can only be alan-keyed into the bigger one, which is an awful design choice -- the lightest you can go with weights on is to only use the biggest weight, but that still feels just too weighty once the club is holding a controller and being used. They really should have allowed any combination of the weights to be threaded on, because I would have preferred to just use one of the smaller weights and that would be it. As it is, since it's uncomfortable with any of the weights, I have removed them all and find the club weight tolerable without any of the additional weight attached. I feel like I paid a higher price for what I thought was a premium, more naturally weighted golf accessory, and I ended up having to ditch all the removable weight simply because of poor design decisions regarding weight distribution and attachment. 4.) The rubber grip is uncomfortable. Yes it looks like a real golf grip, and for the first few swings, you'll think it feels like a real golf grip too; but this is clearly some cheap rubber joined at a seam that will uncomfortably rub raw whatever part of your hand happens to be gripping at the seam. For me, the seam tends to sit right in the palm of my left hand, and with every stroke, combined with the grip shaft loosening itself from its threaded connection, the seam irritates my palm; it gets so aggravated that I can only play one round before I need to stop due to discomfort. I could wear some sort of golf glove, but come on, this is an attachment for at-home video game play, I should need an accessory to comfortably use my already premium gaming accessory. As for the pros, all I can really say is that after removing all the weights, constantly retightening all the threaded connections, and getting a few good swings in before the discomfort sets in, this attachment has improved the consistency of my swings in Golf+ and the accuracy of my putts in Walkabout Mini-Golf; however, all that's really shown me is that I do need a golf club accessory to improve and better enjoy my VR golf games, but that this is not the one and I should seek out alternatives from competing brands -- even if they are mostly plastic, if they avoid all the shortcomings of this accessory, they'll certainly feel more premium than this club pretends to be. ... show more

  • Works Well But Not Durable
Color: 90 DEGREE VERSION
The product works well and the weighting is simple and effective. However the way the grip is attached is a mess (that's a direct quote from the club repair professional who put on a new grip). Due to the poor construction, after some time the grip stretched way out and became loose. The company gives absolutely zero cares about this as I contacted them about it and did not ever get the courtesy of a reply. UPDATE: Regarding the last sentence of my review, the company did finally reply to me and sent me a replacement. So I take back the negative comments about customer service and have upped the review by one star. The construction remains questionable but I can't say whether or not it is different from competing products in this regard. ... show more
