I suppose most scales that work like this are the same, i would hope so. I weighed coins for sale so i include a picture of the coin with the coin and the reading in the same picture, i know it would help on a sale. It might be off .02 of a gram from time to time but i would need to go to a jeweler for a more accurate reading. This is closer than any scale I have ever used. Handy and easy to use. Pop off the battery cover and pull out the thin plastic strip on 1 end of one of the battery's before you use it. Lift the lid and the instructions are printed under the lid, super great and simple. I have not calibrated it yet but I think you do it with a 1 dollar bill. Read the reviews, they help a lot. I would recommend this to a friend. ... show more

The buttons are a bit hard you have to press it on firmly. But that may be intentional. I love this small scale. It has an upper limit so not for heavy things. Great for postal letters, jewelry weight for amber or metals, and most recently I used it to weigh my empty Canon Pixma Ink cartridges before and after filling to gauge if they were full. Measures fine amounts to several decimal places even for grams. Nice! Clear display, compact package, clicks shut nicely, has a guide on top, has a Tare function, and you can switch to several modes of weight - Grams, Grains, CWT, CT, OZ, etc. Recommend for everyday use. ... show more

works great, the numbers are easy to read, accurate, everything i need. one small thing is that the cover does not slide out like a lot of the other scales with similar design, it just opens all the way flat

I bought this for my father who dabbles in coin collecting. He was very pleased with this scale. It calibrates easily, weighs in seconds, and gives a nice digital read-out. It arrived with batteries included, and was so easy to just turn on and start using. He really liked that you could also do tare weights by placing a tray or protective covering on the scale, set the tare, and then weigh the actual object on top of that tray. Bought this to perform volumetric flow tests and figure out how fast my Ender 3 can print before underextrusion begins to occur. Seems very accurate, +/- 0.01 g, and is a *great* scale for little more than 10 dollars. My only issue is its limited weight capacity, but that will be solved with a larger scale. ... show more

This is called a gram scale but so far I have not been able to figure out how to get it to weigh in Grams. And that is what I need it to do to weigh coins.

    • Useful for baking
Highly recommend for anyone who is baking very often. I am using it for scale yeast ,salt, malt powder, and gelatin. For this tasks much better than regular kitchen scale.
