Firm — But in a good way!

I was so on the fence about buying this pillow because the reviews seem so mixed. First of all, I think a lot of the reviews are due to user error. This pillow is supposed to expand for 24-48 hours before use. I waited the full 48 hours and it was great. When I checked on it at the 24 hour mark, it was definitely firmer than the 48 hour mark. I know it’s hard not to use the pillow you’ve just bought because it’s exciting! But really, it’s for the best to follow the instructions and let it expand for the full amount of time. Secondly, I see a lot of complaints that it’s “not cooling”. News flash! No pillow can stay cold *all the time*! That technology does not exist and is currently impossible! It has holes for ventilation, your body gives off heat that transfers to the pillow. Thirdly, the pillow does vary in firmness based on temperature. If it’s warm it’s gonna be a bit softer, if it’s cold it’s gonna be a bit firmer. The reviews are very mixed with people saying “my head sinks down all the way, there’s nothing to it!” and “It’s so firm like a brick! My head doesn’t sink at all!” this confused the crap out of me before buying. I think all of the above factors are the reason for variation in the reviews. I’ll try to give my most unbiased perspective on it. It is firm, I would not call it a brick though. My head sinks about halfway into it. It provides support, but isn’t stiff. It’s not super soft, it does take a minute to sink into. It holds your head in place. I am a side and stomach sleeper and I find it comfortable. I cannot speak for back sleepers. It is very lightweight, but thick, wide, and takes up a decent amount of space. The cover is soft, but you should still put a pillowcase over it. If you don’t like a pillow on the firmer side, you probably won’t like this pillow. If you’re looking for something super soft and squishy, this pillow is not for you. If you are looking for a firm memory foam pillow that keeps you in place, has good neck support, and keeps it’s shape. This pillow is for you. Overall, I like it! I’ve been sleeping on it for a couple weeks and I think it has helped my neck a bit. I’ve been sleeping very soundly and I have no issues. It’s a great price for the quality if it’s what you’re looking for, go for it!

Firm, but still a bit squishy

I like the pillow. I WANT to love. Sadly (and this is crucial), it got into a fight with my rather soft memory foam mattress and my neck ended up hurt. I think the main reason it entered into such a disagreement with my mattress is due to the firmness of the pillow vs. the softness of my mattress. While I like a firm pillow normally, this was too firm and I ended up with my neck at an awkward angle. That being said, I would recommend this pillow for anyone who doesn't have a soft mattress. It is made of high quality materials!

Absolutely amazing I love it. It has only only been the first day of use. But it has definitely exceeded my expectations. The memory foam is so comfortable like my bed. This is an amazing steal for the price I really thought it would be sub par or not worth it. But man was I wrong for half the price of other high dollar pillows out there it has performed amazingly for me. It's is an absolute nust buy if you suffer from you shoulder pains when your sleeping on your side. Pain no more and amazing sleep has come finally.

Great pillow, aftermarket pillow covers/cases need King size though

I've been a memory foam sleeper for a majority of my life, and this one feels great for the price. My only three complaints so far: 1. I bought this pillow as Queen size. The pillow is slightly longer than most Queen sized pillow covers and pillowcases though, so I had to use a King size pillow cover and had to stretch a Queen size pillowcase a good bit to fit properly. 2. The included pillow cover is made of polyester, which made me want to switch it to cotton immediately. 3. The pillow is a bit tough for the first few days, but after a week or so, it softens enough to a comfortable state. Or perhaps my head adjusted to it. With that said though, very satisfied with this pillow, been sleeping easy ever since.

Firm pillow doesn't compress much

It's thick... It is on the firm side but it has almost no compression so if you like your neck elevated at an angle this would work well for you. I had to return because it would not work for me but it's not a bad pillow.

Quality that lasts

I first bought this pillow in 2019. I bought two of them. The only bad thing about this pillow is the initial smell of the memory foam but that's a general memory foam thing and not just a this pillow thing. It has held up and it feels the same now as it did all the way back in 2019. It's firm enough for me as a side sleeper but is still comfortable if I roll onto my back. Now I'm a firm believer in pillows needing to be replaced over time. It's been 7 years since I bought these pillows and it's time to replace them and instead of choosing to experiment and try to find out if a different pillow is better for me, I decided to reorder the same pillows I bought back in 2019 because I know they're good quality and will last.

Great pillow

Bought this for my husband who had a Stearns and Foster pillow but I couldn’t afford to replace it with the same pillow so I found this one and he has been sleeping better. He really likes the king size so he doesn’t have to adjust when changing positions from side to side. Keeps him cool also which is huge as he tends to heat up like a furnace at night. I bought pillow protectors as well and he has had no issues. He has a nose of a blood hound and other than the first few days of having has had no complaints of odor.
