I got this to add a little cushioning to a pullout sleeper. It looks terrible when you take it out of the box, but does expand within 24 hours. Part of one corner of it never fully expanded for me, but you can’t really feel that when the bed is made up. The 2” is thin enough to fold back into the sofa, which is what I wanted, and the creases disappear immediately when unfolded. It is soft and comfortable. It has a slightly rubbery feel if you lie directly on the foam, but feels fine under a sheet. Only buy this to add softness to a firm mattress. If you’re looking to add support, go with something more substantial. And NO one should expect a product like this to treat a medical condition. It’s a decent value for the price. UPDATE: Eventually that corner did fully expand. It still sleeps great.

It's VERY comfortable and not too soft.. just right..treat yourself to a good nights sleep.
I am in LOVE WITH THIS THING!! I know I should have waited the 24hours like the direction said but i've been dealing with lower back and neck pain for a while now and I couldn't wait. I gave it few hours but definatly not 24 and that's ok because it worked out fine. I sleep like a baby last night and I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. This is the BEST purchase I've made for my back so far. If you are dealing with back pain and you have an old/older mattress like I do well, its a decent Sealy pillow top mattress but back back can no longer take the firmness. This 2 inch topper is the perfect combination for my bed. If you are in the market for a GREAT topper look no further. This is it and I HIGHLY reccomend it.

I’ve been sleeping on this for approximately two weeks now. It has been a life savor. My mattress isn’t very old but the last few months I had been sleeping like total crap. I was waking up with terrible back aches & tossed and turned all throughout the night. I read multiple reviews before deciding to go with this topper. My first night was truly heaven. I work up feeling so refreshed the next day! A few weeks later, I’m still getting decent sleep. It’s made all the difference, however it isn’t as fluffed as I would like. I want to be able to melt into a cloud. Now, this is comfortable, do not get me wrong and I’ve been able to sleep relatively well since getting it so I do not regret it and I would purchase it again. The only time I experience discomforted is if I lay in one position for quite some time, it’s memory foam so it sinks with weight. Overall I would recommend this product! Primarily if you’re looking for comfort but with something that’s still firm ( apparently firm is good for your back.) if you’re looking to fall into a cloud, this isn’t for you. It’s reasonably price and would be a good temporary fix if needed, which is why I got it. I’m looking to purchase an actual memory foam mattress in the coming months but I plan to put this on top!

Perfect for pull out couch!

Love this mattress. I'll start by saying my primary reason for purchase was to alleviate my guilt for sticking guests on an uncomfortable pull out couch. This works wonders! My boyfriend's mother who has degenerative disc disease used the pull out with this mattress for two weeks and said it was "wonderful". She was comfortable and it did not exacerbate her back problems. We also own a nice spring mattress. I stuck this mattress on there to try, thinking it would turn a great spring mattress into a fantastic memory foam topped mattress but I actually really disliked it. It did not enhance my experience, and I found the memory foam way too soft and difficult to sleep on. So I don't recommend it for a bed that's already supportive if you don't like a soft mattress. But again, on the pull out couch it's terrific. I sat down on it one day and couldn't keep my eyes open. Turns a pullout into a desirable place to be!!!

So glad I bought this!
So glad I bought this! It got really good reviews. We have had it on our bed for several days now, and really love it. Once we took it out of the box, ours only had a slight odor, and that went away quickly after unfolding it from the box. We left it unfolded to get slight creases out. And we used it that night. We have had an old mattress memory foam topper and needed a new one. So we just decided to add it to this new one! Now instead of 1" with the old one, now its 3" with this new one! Its been great. My husband used to know when I got out of bed with the old topper, now he doesn't. I don't hear him getting up either. I sleep more hours during the night now. I dont have sore muscles like before, I wake up not hurting, which is great. No more tossing and turning! And it fits great up under my fitted sheet, just make sure you have the deeper pocket type fitted sheets.

Perfect Topper

This topper is exactly what I needed. Unfolded it to let it take full shape. A couple areas were depressed and I just “fluffed” the foam a bit with my fingers. Within 15 minutes, the depressions were gone and it was full size and the perfect shape. Very slight odor dissipates within a few hours. Very comfortable to lay on and just the right amount of cushioning for our firm queen mattress. Had a house guest sleep on it the next night and they loved it. Definitely worth every penny!! Completely satisfied customer here!!

Helpful for hip pain

My mattress is too firm. I had bought a 4” memory foam in the past but immediately it hurt my lower back since it offered no support despite my mattress being very firm. I bought this 2” memory foam figuring it would not be too thin and not too thick and I was right. Still feel supported and comfortable but my hip pain has lessened and I can now sleep on my hips. My bed used to feel like I slept on the floor that’s how hard it is. UPDATE- I notice this pad works best if you do not lay on your bed hanging out before sleep for a long time. For a week I was sick and laid on my bed before sleep for a few hours and it was not as comfortable especially upon waking. But if I do not lay on the bed before sleep (which is better to not use your bed for lounging anyway! Best to use only for sleep) the mattress pad works so much better. No complaints.
