Had one for 2 years for my iPhone 12 mini and just bought another to replace it. I’ve taken it to hikes, the beach, the jungle and it’s a tough and stylish little guy. Have dropped my phone multiple times and it handles it very well. Never have used an “screen protector” and as you can see from the pictures after 2 years my phone is in mint condition. That cannot be said about the case. Water is its enemy, after around 6 months the color started to fade. I did use it while wet in the beach, pool, shower. It’s leather (or some kind of) after all. I’ve attached pictures of the old one after 2 years and new one. Also pics of my phone while charging since case is MagSafe compatible and the leather Apple wallet. Bought the wallet around the same time as my previous case and as you can see it is still holding up, the difference is I never combine my wallet with humid environments. If I don’t change my phone for another 2 years and will definitely buy a new case again.

This fits the iPhone 12 mini perfectly and has total protection. All the buttons are covered and protected except for the silent slider, speaker, and lightning port. The back is the perfect thickness that is slightly higher than the camera bump so that the camera lenses are protected when laying flat and won’t scratch if sliding on a flat surface. That brings me to the front side of the case. It also is slightly raised and has a lip around the entire front of the phone. This also means that the screen is protected and won’t scratch even when laying with the screen down. This is great for protection, but the lip on the bottom may make it difficult for some to slide up on the edge to use the home gesture. This doesn’t bother me, but I see how it could bother others. Other than that it’s a great case and the leather feels amazing and feels good in the hands with plenty of grip.

The leather quality on this case is not great; pretty cheap and plastic-y. The blue dye also started wearing off around the edges and corners pretty quickly, and after about 6 months of normal use, it looks really crappy, and is worn through to the plastic liner in a few spots. It still protects the phone as well as it ever did, but I'm really not impressed with the finish or durability given the price.

UPDATE: Went to best buy today to get the MagSafe wallet. After comparing the embossed Apple logos I’m I’m SERIOUSLY QUESTIONING this case. I’ve seen pictures and reviews of Apple cases purchased from the Apple store and they seem to have a deeper embossing. IS THIS REAL?? I will probably order one from Apple directly to be sure. What I don’t like It’s a very basic “leather” case. Looks like leather, feels like leather but smells like chemicals and printer paper. Zero drop protection, and the ringer switch is a pain to get to. The camera lenses seem very vulnerable. Overpriced. Should be $20 cheaper. What I like The buttons are AMAZING. It looks really nice. The magnet is cool. I bought the saddle brown and regret not buying the black one. But maybe once I scuff it up a bit it will look better.

By far the best case I have ever owned. I usually buy the cheaper ones. I thought I would try this one out and return if needed. That was not needed. This is a great case. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a minimalist case for those who want some protection but don't want to lock up inside an Otter Box sized case. There is no 'front' to this case, but the sides are slightly raised above the screen so a fall directly down onto the front would have minor protection. A fall onto a side or the back would be better protected. I got a blue one to match my blue 12 mini and the color is fantastic. The fit and finish is Rolls Royce quality just as you'd expect from an Apple product. Overall a very nice case offering small size, classy looks but minimal protection. I'd have given it a five start rating but let's be serious, $59? Has to be one of the biggest profit makers, percentagewise, in the entire Apple store. I'll bet they buy these cases for under $2 each.
