The frame overall is nice looking. I appreciate that it looks like a quality, modern product without having a high price. The wood headboard and footboard have a rich brown color. Nothing too orange. Nothing too plain. The metal seems to be powder coated so it's pretty tough & just needs a dusting. No cleaners. Putting the bed together: 1 person- about an HR/ 1:30hrs. The instructions aren't as straight forward as I'd like them to be, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty straightforward after that. Just make sure that you only hand tighten the screws until the entire thing is done. Once you’re happy with the results, and everything is installed correctly, then I suggest tightening down with the L wrench included in the package Complaints. I wish the three legs/stands that hold the bed slats in the middle of the bed had some kind of feet on the bottom so they could sit flat on the ground. Don't get me wrong, the bed is nice and sturdy but for my peace of mind I would like something a little bit better than whats included. And speaking of the slats, on the side of the bed frame are slit's where you insert them. make sure you insert them all the way then push them forward and the attached rubber plug goes in the back so there is no movement/play. If you notice one may be missing, Check your packaging just in case it fell out. Other notes. The frame itself is 35 inches tall and the legs are 14 inches off the ground so if you have a taller mattress, your headboard might disappear behind the mattress. I suggest a mattress that's 10inches or less. (this is simply for looks/Aesthetic's. ) Final note. Good frame. Good price. Good quality. ... show more

I ordered this bed frame, was pretty excited for it. But I was sent a pool table, which is cool and all but I don’t really want a pool table. I do however kinda want a bed frame, hence why I ordered a bed frame and not a pool table. I am happy to change my review when I receive a bed frame. **EDIT** So I sent the pool table back and a few days later I got the bed frame delivered. The bed is sturdy and looks pretty much like the picture. It arrived on time. The directions were very confusing as the metal parts were marked with numbers and the directions referred to them by letters. It took us forever to figure out which piece went where. Then when we were almost finished assembling the frame, it turns out the center support which consists of two pieces was 2 inches short, one inch for each piece. We had to find a work around with some stuff we had in our garage. Very unsatisfactory. Hard to believe that no one else has had this problem. ... show more

Wow! Great bed! Putting together a second time within 2 hours was a charm. Apparently! My son moved into a coach house with 3 other roommates with a 3rd floor loft area. He and I spent about an hour but should’ve been less because once you get into the grove, it is soo easy! He had chosen a first floor bedroom but he texted me this morning to say that he took the bed down and moved it to the loft on his own. He said it took about 30 min to put together. It is incredibly sturdy for a bed to be so inexpensive. He purchased a 10” mattress from Amazon that came in a box and it fits perfectly. Its very comfortable. Edit 10/6/20: The slats are kind of a pain. They keep popping out which is very frustrating. The bed is sturdy. There is no lip or grippy part to keep the mattress on though so we’ll have to see how well my daughters mattress stays on there. Also, the instructions could have been much better but we figured it out. I wish the support feet weren’t so close to the edge because it’s something extra to stub your toes on. We managed to get it together. It took three if us to figure out what was going on. The parts are sticker labeled with numbers but the instructions used letters in some cases. So we had to use postits to identify and verify we had all the parts. One end of the rail was bent and had to use the handle end of a hammer to bend it out. All the parts were in n the box. If you have 7-8 hours free to spend putting it together, then this is the bed for you. To say that this is an easy to assemble bed that is a joke. Let's take step 1 - You have to take piece A1 affix it to piece B. Well here's the kicker, there is no A1 or B labeled on the pieces that you receive. Once it's together, it looks nice. However I would not recommend this bed to anyone. The instructions are quite cryptic and the parts are not well labelled so I had to spend half an hour looking over everything before I understood well enough how it was supposed to work. And even then I had to take apart a couple of items because I realized I had made a mistake. As I assembled it, I also one of the parts was machined wrong and was missing a threaded hole it was supposed to have. Luckily that one was not in a critical position so I was able to continue without it. For something like this, I was not interested in having to return it and order a new one since my son needed a bed to sleep on. Lastly, the way the bars connect across the bed is a little finicky and doesn't make me feel like they will last long. If I have any more observations I will update this review ... show more
