  • Works well and cuts bigger weeds quite easily.
Style: Push-N-Load 3 Blade Head
Easy to insert and replace blades are a nice feature. Cuts through some relatively thick weeks.

  • Works as described
Style: Push-N-Load 3 Blade Head
Fits my DeWalt 20V electric trimmer using the parts delivered with the device. Initial blades were sturdy and fairly long lasting - replacement blades were much less sturdy. works well on grass and weeds - not so good on thick brush. Overall good buy.

  • Had a competitors version on another weed whacker, but this thing RIPS!
Style: Push-N-Load 3 Blade Head
Had a version of this I've used in the past, but this thing RIPS! I had a head that took poly-blades, and it was great for brush and weeds, though replacing the worn out blades was a complete hassle requiring a torx head and a few minutes of time (and a walk back to the bench or truck). This device though (apparently sold under different brand names) absolutely rips. The blades so far seem to hold up better than the German name-brand competitor (not naming - review was rejected earlier, wondering if that was the cause). The absolute winner though is that these blades are so easy and quick to change, no tools required. I *would* like to see some longer blade options though. The competitors product has a slightly wider head though the blades are the same length. The result though is that it has a slightly larger cutting diameter. Great product though, would buy again. ... show more

  • Good for open brush cutting but not up against fence
Style: Push-N-Load 3 Blade Head
Easy to install, blades change out simple enough. I have a . 25 acre lot with a wooden fence and my house is stone and brick. The blades if pushed to close to the fence pull the head down into the grass. Similarly when against the brick and stone. Also the blades wore out half of their length in it's first use. Chunks of plastic flew off at times. Wear glasses when using. The pulling and chunking slowed me down getting the weed eating done. Trying to go slow to not scalp the grass and or damage the blades by hitting the fence or masonry. With that said, in areas where I had high brush and no "wall/fence" it worked great. It does chuck more rocks than a traditional stringer one. So be careful and wear pants too. I really don't like leaving poor reviews. But I had hoped this would have worked out a little better. If you have an open lawn with trees and brush areas I would imagine this would be much better than a string trimmer. The cost wasn't so much that I feel I got cheated or a bad deal, I just don't have the set up that would allow this head to function efficiently. ... show more

  • Perfect
Style: Push-N-Load 3 Blade Head
Easy and better than hoped for!

  • Easy install - great value!
Style: Push-N-Load 3 Blade Head
My homelite gas powered string trimmer needed a new head. OEM replacement was $30-$40 depending on the website. This was a much more economical replacement. Installation was very easy and the plastic blades make smooth, even cuts.

  • Does what it says with a few caveats
Style: Push-N-Load 3 Blade Head
It does cut grass and thicker weeds, but.. I think this is almost exclusively better at the bigger stuff, but not too big. I was able to knock down some tough weeds in my ditch with ease. However, using it on some small saplings didn't fare as well. Sure it was thicker, but I figured this would get it anyway - nope, trying this caused it to throw one of the blades which caused the whole thing to go off balance. Ended up having to use the replacements that came with it on my first use! I will say that changing the blades was incredibly easy, but not as easy as string line. I also found that trying to do real edging near my flower beds and home was not exactly great with this. The head loves to catch on things and kick back at you whenever possible, seriously wear foot protection. It also has a nasty habit of getting so caught that it nearly stops entirely, once actually killing the motor. I worry that it will strip itself on the bolt and be a huge pain to remove if I ever need to. The grass it trimmed was fine, but it likes to get caught and drag itself into the grass causing bare or shorter spots. Also was difficult to get into corners. I think this has its place, but it's not generally what I need around my house. It's easy to change the blades, sure, but they're not nearly as available everywhere as string line. Think it's just easier and simpler that way. Oh and finally, the thing is really heavy so I felt like I was on full throttle almost the whole time using it. Definitely not for electric trimmers, but almost too much for a 25cc as well. I'll probably buy a string head when I break my last set of blades (which will probably be the next time I use it). ... show more

  • Does not fit Dewalt Cordless trimmers
Style: Push-N-Load 3 Blade Head
Works as advertised. I got tired of dealing with the line, so bought this. I can't knock it, as it works. It really works. It might take a finger if you get to close. That said, if you have a wood fence, Belgian blocks, or mean to trim by a cement foundation this is probably not the product for you. If you have a large open area you want to do large swings with the trimmer, this will do it way better than string will. Also, you can make this fit a Dewalt, which I am sure the mfr will tell you don't do or they don't warranty it. I don't suggest it either, but you CAN do it. For trimmers it does fit, it appears the install is really easy. ... show more
