I just received this yesterday. Took maybe 2 minutes to put together. Gave it a test try and was blown away with its' strength. I think it may make lite work of hard tasks. Would recommend.

Just received mine today. Took it out of the box immediately and started weeding out my flower bed. Works great with little effort, I have a bad back and can't get down on the ground so working standing up is a lot easier. Next I'm buying the edger.

The ground is fairly hard here, so I have trouble getting deep enough with this tool to pull out the weeds roots and all. For weeds with shallow, spreading roots it works well, but for those with a long straight tap root I find a hand spade more effective (but hard work). If your goal is to weed a garden, with well-tilled earth, rather than a long-neglected plot of dry land, you will probably be happy with this tool.

If I could give this tool a 10 I would. It works very well for florida weeds. Especially those white flowers. It pulls the root and saves your back from bending to pull the roots. I highly recommend this tool. And after reading some of the reviews I did not have any problem with it loosening or coming apart.

The good folks at BlumeTrec seem to have their act pretty much together. I think this is the 4th positive review I have given them on their gardening implements. This time it is the long handled, stand up weed puller and garden hoe. Due to the hollow tube and thread method they use to construct the handle, it can range from 26.5 inches to 68 inches from head to grip tip depending on how many pieces of shaft one incorporates. I used it and will continue to use it at full length as that is very comfortable and handy for me. We've lived in this house for 11 years now and the soil is really compacted (and I suspect it was upon our arrival) so piercing the top stratum can be very difficult in most places. This tool makes quick work of it with it's sharp metal teeth and flat blade. We are in the process of creating some raised beds and this tool was very useful for the prep of the soil. Most of the grass is Bermuda Grass and once it gets established it has some horrible root balls. All I had to do was insert the corner of the clawed side under the ball and apply pressure. And it took some pressure. During this process, I felt no give in the handle as the weeds and unwanted grass slowly came out. I then used the flat side to scrape all of the resultant dirt clods away from the prepped area. I can't wait to use it once the ground has been properly turned and mixed. Soon after it was time to combine the broken soil with some bagged garden soil and once again, this rake rose to the occasion I used the manganese tined edge to spread the new soil over and into the old dirt. When it came time for fine finishing the surface for seedlings and bare roots, I simply flipped the rake sideways and used the 3rd side to level out the beds. Once some areas were finally ready, I used the tool's head to tamp the loose soil around the intended planting spots. We got our rhubarb and strawberries in today and are starting tomorrow on some of our flower bulbs. I could have trotted out my older, single use tools, but this is so light and sturdy I simply went with it throughout the job because it was already in my hands and so handy. (I think the star-shaped hole being designed for less weight is admirable but a bit fanciful.) We got more accomplished today than I expected to. I'd like to chalk that up to the tool I was using, but Mrs. Kane and I were simply enjoying working together and that gave us the extra energy to complete this job. However for it's sturdiness, comfortableness and flexibility I am going to give this 2 in 1 garden rake / hoe 5 Stars. And as of today (03/29/26), there is a 10% off price reduction. Besides, how many sellers include a handful of cool and colorful stickers along with their work products? Not many.
