I seldomly write any review unless it is EXTREMELY bad or EXTREMELY GOOD. In this case, it is EXTREMELY GOOD. Here is our story: For years we are using Verizon service since it is stable in the city with high speed. However when we go to our remote area mountain house, the service is terrible. we barely get any signal outside of the home and inside our home, basically it is unuseable. Cannot even open email on our phones.... Yes its that bad. We called Verizon for over 10 years, while promises were made, there were no progress. We are sick and tired of their false promises and decided to take actions on our own. We came across this device, and since we are not handy, we decided to buy the complete package. The box came to our home with ease, and we schedule an appointment to our mountain home (at our main home). Since we know we will travel to our mountain home during Easter break, we scheduled it today Monday, 4/18/2022. the appointment was scheduled for 8-10 am ET. We are able to track the location of the tech (We boost and OnTech is really associated with Dish Network btw). The web page mistakenly show that our house is a few houses away, when in facts it is off by a few blocks. We called the company and they told us that the web track function is slightly off, but the installation address is correct (and later on we found out that it is indeed correct!) The tech, Michael, is extremely professional. He did not even bother to use the cables that came with our kit, he used the professional cables for Dish Network. He used his device to find out EXACTLY where is the tower, to the exact degree, and told us what is our issues. He told us since there are tons of trees around our home, that is also the problem with no signal inside. He mounted the antenna up on our TV pole (shaft), and ran cables down, professional ensure that he will not drill thru the columns or structures of the house, and installed everything professionally. wall plate, water sealant outside, all cables were neatly tie, and tapped to the wall. The cable leads to a booster signal box, which leads to interior antenna to broadcast the Verizon (and any phone companies) signal inside our home. We did not lift a finger except saying thank you and as you can see, from the AFTER AND BEFORE signal from the same device at the same location. We had no upload speed, which means net will not work since no data could be uploaded; to what you see in the picture. Now everyone's phone have high speed net (went from 0 net inside the house). Our result is not even the best result since we have lots of trees and the booster box shows 1 red bar (3 green bars), but it works like a charm. We HIGHLY RECOMMANDED. IT is expensive, $1400 after tax, but well worth every penny for a PERMANENT SOLUTION to your problem, with no hidden cost and one time payment solution. SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ... show more

There was a noticeable difference the first day we used it. Now there is absolutely zero boost of the signal! Our cell phones work the same with it unplugged as when it is plugged in and has 5 green lights. Don’t waste your money!

My cabin in the country is in a very remote area, down in a valley far away from any big city. Phone connectivity has been spotty to non existant I bought the WeBoost Cabin signal booster as a last resort. I could not be more pleased. I can now make and receive phone calls, send and receive text messages and access the internet on my phone. Install took less than a two hours, including installing the antennea on the cabin roof and making adjustments. My only complaint is the downloaded app for installation is cheesy and needs some refinement. The product itself is just perfect for my particular application. I’ll start by saying that 5 or 6 years ago I bought the prior version of this WeBoost MultiRoom. I installed it at my house, where I had very bad cell reception inside, but outside or at an upstairs window I got OK reception. I bought this version for the similar directional antenna, better gain, and the larger coverage area for inside my new home. Last year I moved, and the old WeBoost stayed at the old house. For the last 13 months I have struggled with dropped calls, poor data rates, loss of data connectivity. I needed to solve the same problems I had before, so I went with a brand that lasted me 4 years or more and did a wonderful job the whole time. First, I did a dry run or ‘soft test’ by placing the antenna on the upstairs deck rail and running the cable through a doorway. Worked pretty well, in my kitchen I went from one bar 3G 1MBPS download to 2 bars 4G/LTE and 10MBPS download, which was as good or better than I expected. I installed the directional antenna outside under the eaves of my house, and used OpenSignal app to get a rough idea of which direction to point the antenna, routed the ouside cable under the eaves and used the included flat connector to come through a slider window. WORKED GREAT. Once inside I mounted the interior antenna on the slope of my interior roof, pointing down at about 45 degrees across the kitchen and living room. Signal test after final placement was 16.2MBPS and phone shows 3 to 4 bars of LTE. Perfect - as good as I get in town on a good day. Note: My install is NOT perfectly in line with the instruction book. The two antennas are at the same height, and I only have 20 feet between the outside antenna and the inside antenna, but they do face away from each other. The book calls for as much as 50’ separation, and encourages 20’ of vertical separation, but as far as I can tell I have no significant interference and the speed increase was 10X to 15X improvement. I even have LTE at the other end of the house, and 3 to 4 bars of 3G in the basement where I was lucky to show any connection at all before. The multi-room unit with directional antenna was priced higher than I liked, and I will be watching it pretty closely for the next few weeks to make sure performance holds, but if it does as well as my last one... I will count it a success and well worth the extra money. I do not have a 5G signal in my area, and have an older IPhone 6S, so it may be a year or three before I use that feature, but its nice to know the new units will also work for 5G when it comes my way. ... show more

    • No Improvement Even With All Green Lights

I wanted to love the WeBoost Studios OMNI. It's perfect for my application (Provide a signal to a parked car in a garage). Unfortunately, even with 5 solid green lights, there was absolutely no increase in signal strength, upload speed or download speed (Measured using OOKLA speed test on the phone). We tried 5 different locations for the outdoor antenna, all of which produced 5 green lights on the amplifier. No matter where the outside antenna was, there was no performance improvements with the cell phone. In addition to this, the coax connectors all got pretty hot after just a few minutes of use. For reference, we are AT&T customers and we live in the Los Angeles area, but due to local topography, we have very poor cell coverage. ... show more
