I seldomly write any review unless it is EXTREMELY bad or EXTREMELY GOOD. In this case, it is EXTREMELY GOOD. Here is our story: For years we are using Verizon service since it is stable in the city with high speed. However when we go to our remote area mountain house, the service is terrible. we barely get any signal outside of the home and inside our home, basically it is unuseable. Cannot even open email on our phones.... Yes its that bad. We called Verizon for over 10 years, while promises were made, there were no progress. We are sick and tired of their false promises and decided to take actions on our own. We came across this device, and since we are not handy, we decided to buy the complete package. The box came to our home with ease, and we schedule an appointment to our mountain home (at our main home). Since we know we will travel to our mountain home during Easter break, we scheduled it today Monday, 4/18/2022. the appointment was scheduled for 8-10 am ET. We are able to track the location of the tech (We boost and OnTech is really associated with Dish Network btw). The web page mistakenly show that our house is a few houses away, when in facts it is off by a few blocks. We called the company and they told us that the web track function is slightly off, but the installation address is correct (and later on we found out that it is indeed correct!) The tech, Michael, is extremely professional. He did not even bother to use the cables that came with our kit, he used the professional cables for Dish Network. He used his device to find out EXACTLY where is the tower, to the exact degree, and told us what is our issues. He told us since there are tons of trees around our home, that is also the problem with no signal inside. He mounted the antenna up on our TV pole (shaft), and ran cables down, professional ensure that he will not drill thru the columns or structures of the house, and installed everything professionally. wall plate, water sealant outside, all cables were neatly tie, and tapped to the wall. The cable leads to a booster signal box, which leads to interior antenna to broadcast the Verizon (and any phone companies) signal inside our home. We did not lift a finger except saying thank you and as you can see, from the AFTER AND BEFORE signal from the same device at the same location. We had no upload speed, which means net will not work since no data could be uploaded; to what you see in the picture. Now everyone's phone have high speed net (went from 0 net inside the house). Our result is not even the best result since we have lots of trees and the booster box shows 1 red bar (3 green bars), but it works like a charm. We HIGHLY RECOMMANDED. IT is expensive, $1400 after tax, but well worth every penny for a PERMANENT SOLUTION to your problem, with no hidden cost and one time payment solution. SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ... show more

    • Not Worth the Price!

I received the weBoost Home complete and arranged for the prepaid install. The installer arrived the next day. He proceeded to tell me that they did not get up on the roof, nor would they enter the attic. The receiving antenna was placed on the edge of the roof, instead of being placed higher to increase chances of signal. They completed the installation as cleanly as possible. At that time I had no better signal than before. I called tech support and was told that the position had too much interference and would need to be repositioned. I was able to get better signal on the amplifier by changing the direction and placing it in the direction the signal finder told me. It was still getting an intermittent yellow on 1 of the 4 lights. The installer clearly didn’t know what they were doing and tech support is not very helpful either with improving the indoor signal strength. This clearly isn’t worth the high price paid. If you are self installing, you will need to be very tech savvy and able to reach heights on your roof. Essentially weBoost had an excuse for why it doesn’t work. Yo would be better off finding friends with different carriers and choosing the carrier that works best at your house. Expensive mistake! ... show more

    • Proper installation yields the expected results!

I purchased the Home complete kit with installation July 2022. I was very disappointed in the installation. As soon as the installation technician understood we were not interested in any of the “upgrades” he “just put it up” and although never disrespectful was working as fast as he could, to get the job done. When asked about the location of the antenna and route of the cable he became visually agitated, that I had zero interest in cable laying unsecured across my roof. After installation there was a slight improvement in our cellular signal RSRP of -124 dropped to -112 to which we were told, is over a 400% increase. Fast forward a few months, huge storm with hail. House received a new roof and new siding. To credit WeBoosts durability the directional antenna survived intact. I reinstalled the antenna using the WeBoost app and the antenna was pointing 87 degrees East, using the app based cellular tower locator the antenna should have been pointing 183 degrees South. Needless to say our RSRP went from -123 to -90. According to the app that is a 1000% increase in signal. In real world usability there is a significant improvement particularly in texting pictures and downloading data. High quality RG-6 cable with all-weather compression connectors were used and my rating based on the improved user experience has gone to 5 stars. We live in rural Midwest in a house built in 1850’s very heavy duty construction. I am impressed enough that I will be installing a mobile WeBoost in my Truck. YMMV ... show more
