I really liked the idea of this booster box and I was very excited to try it. I felt like it was a safe bet given all the positive reviews. After immediately receiving the box I was so disappointed. It didn’t do anything to boost our service. Since we were in remote Utah at the time we decided to keep it and try it somewhere else, a less remote location. We travel a lot and by the time we left Utah and continued in our travels it was past the 30 day return period. We have had it up for 6 months now, and I finally felt to leave an honest review. I am so disappointed in this product. I’ve been using this product for 4 months now and still drop calls daily. I’ve called my cell phone carrier multiple times along with weboost. The weboost rep was very snarky on the phone when I asked him if I set it up right. I did set it up right, but still can’t get phone calls to stick. When you’re running a business, this is the worst thing that can happen. I am sad that I’m out of the window of returning this product. I just kept giving it the benefit of the doubt. Poor service. I live in a poor cellphone coverage area, hence the need for a cell phone booster. I found the instructions to be extremely poor and lacking detail. I followed the instructions four times to find my dBm but they did not work with my iphone. I proceeded to setup the booster using the signal strength indicators. I can only achieve 3 of 4 solid green bars on the booster unit. I live in a 1,200sq ft condo with 3 rooms and due to the distance requirements of 50' between the outside antenna and inside antenna I have limited locations to place the unit. I can now receive 1 to 2 extra bars in one room, but not my office which was the primary purpose for the unit. This unit is designed for permanent installation and the effective signal boosting range is much less than advertised. ... show more

    • Awesome but READ instructions!
This signal booster is awesome! After reading the reviews I knew to make sure to follow installation instructions which we did. Everything they tell you is important so READ. I returned a less expensive one that did nothing & got this one. We had almost no signal inside & if we did have a call come through, the caller couldn't hear us. And internet activity w our phone was almost nil. Now we have 4 bars inside & internet works great too. (We use a Verizon mifi for internet & its helped it too.) I highly recommend this product but as others have said, read the instructions & follow carefully! We attached the outside receiver as far up as we could on an old TV antenna, ran the cable through the attic & down to the center of the house (laundry room), then positioned the booster on top of door trim in DR. Its small & sits easily on door trim. If you're not technically inclined pay someone who is. A guy who used to install cable TV did ours for $50. Itll be worth it to have good service if you're in a dead zone like us. Our nearest tower is about 10-15 miles or more. ... show more

    • Great booster but cheap materials that fail and are out of stock
We had a metal roof put on and my cell service was gone. Never had a problem prior. So we purchased this booster and have had no problems since. Easy to install. Works great! Update. I bought this May 2017. worked great until the last week August 2018 and it completely shut down, no power. So I called weboost who said it was most likely the power cord. But they do not have any and are out of stock and don't know when they will have them in stock. REALLY???? . Update: It was not the power cord but the actual unit and yes.. it is also on backorder! and I just noticed the Warning: Proposition 65 meaning this product contains nickel metallic which causes cancer. great. ... show more

Just OK. Gets us a usable signal, but properly positioning the indoor and outdoor antennas can be a pain (they need to be separated by a large distance which means routing a coax cable clear across your house). Build quality is poor, which is a bummer considering how expensive this is. The coax cable inside our antenna broke off.     • Overall great product but... it really depends on your original signal strength.
Installation was fairly easy. You have to understand that the booster needs to be at least 50 horizontal feet or 20 vertical feet from the outside antenna. Everything needed to perform the installation was included, coax, connectors, pole mount etc. The only thing I would suggest is that you purchase a 2-3ft RG6 Coax if you are going to have the inside booster mounted near the wall connection. Downsides, 1: I use Wifi Hotspot from my cell phone and find that the signal will drop from 4 bars to 1 bar as soon as I connect a device to the hotspot. 2: Sometimes I can have a full signal through the booster but I still get "huh, I can't understand you" from the other end of the conversation. It's a little iffy as to whether or not it's on my end or there's because I hear them just fine. 3: Occasionally I have to turn my phone off and back on again before the signal strength will boost. Especially if i'm on a conversation while out of range of the booster then walk into range. Overall I'm ok with the purchase and don't regret it, I just wish it was a "little" better. ... show more

Did nothing at all to help my cell reception. I have a strong signal on the roof where the antenna was mounted, all green lights on the amplifier, but absolutely no change in strength or quality of the signal inside the house. Followed installation instructions to a tee and tried 3 different mounting locations and countless adjustments to the antenna alignment to no avail. Tried calling tech support on a Sunday only to learn they don't have 24/7 support. Very disappointing - sending back. ... show more
