Description

The Gen2 56" Big Shot Webaround is an affordable, collapsible/storable and portable green screen background for use with a webcam and streaming. It is made of chroma key enabled neoprene and nylon with high quality spring steel capable of decades of use. The Webaround is perfect for those working from home using video conferencing platforms such as Zoom as well as gamers streaming on platforms such as Twitch. It’s also great for those working remotely or anyone needing a clean background for their webcam display. The chroma key green enables users with the right software to set any image they desire for their background. Please see our attached image of one of our employees demonstrating the end results! Webaround is a small, family owned and operated business out of Michigan. We invented the Webaround in 2012 and service all orders in house. **Making your Webaround "fit" your screen** Ensure your webcam is at eye level and looking directly at you, not up or down, by properly positioning your laptop. You may need to sit your laptop on a box, stack of books, or the like. Windows/PC laptop with built-in camera: Open your Windows camera app (type camera in bottom left search bar), open settings (cog in the top left), play with the aspect ratio or photo quality until your camera "zooms" in on your face; If you have Windows 10, you may need to download free software "ManyCam", or similar, to enable the best adjustments. Mac built-in camera: Download the latest Apple operating system and software "iGlasses" from the app store which will then allow you to make necessary camera adjustments. External webcam such as Logitech: Download the latest software for your camera, go into settings and "zoom in/out" on your face. Adjust your Webaround on your chair: Use the nearly endless adjustments with the attached Velcro and stabilizer. You may need some trial and error the first time out to get it right for each chair type.

However, I have had one for a month and have yet to be able to use it. The biggest issue is finding a chair that it fits on. In the two rooms that I work from at home, the chair backs are not the right shape or size to support it. In one case it is too low; in another the back tilts backward too much. Somehow suspending it from the ceiling seems to be my best bet at this point. Not ideal. Also, it is translucent. When put in front of a window, the light through the window causes havoc with the image on a Zoom call. So you need the right background in back of the screen. Also the round width left a lot of spaces in between that cannot be covered by the green screen. Happy now to say that it has held up very well. Have used this on average of once per week for almost a year, and it still opens and flattens without any problems. Very large, and worth every penny. It folds up nice and flat and I can store it easily when not in use. My only issue is that it's thin fabric, and on very bright days, light from the window can still be an issue. Generally however, it works great with the meeting software I use, and that was the entire point of purchase. Very happy, would totally recommend.;;Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;This is a fantastic portable green screen;;Indigo-Shade;;;It served it's purpose for several months until I upgraded to the Elgato Green Screen - Collapsible chroma key panel for background removal with auto-locking frame, wrinkle-resistant chroma-green fabric, aluminum hard case, ultra-quick setup and breakdown. I couldn't afford the Elgato at first, and I needed something for a space that didn't have a lot of room. This offered the perfect solution. The screen is nice, and it does fold up small into its pouch. It fits on the chair nicely. Putting it away each time was difficult for me. I could never master how to properly fold it to put it back into the bag. However, my husband figured it out so that became his task each time. It is a bit small and having it round meant that I had to make sure that the camera screen was close enough so that you wouldn't see around the top left and right curve. Like I said, it was a great option, and I enjoyed using it for several months. I plan to also keep it around as a backup just in case I am traveling and need a quick green screen. Don’t be fooled by the picture this thing is BIG! The straps for the chair are amazing and it uses Velcro to stick together and the bond is very strong! I never get the feeling that it will fall. The only issue i had is that it is a bit too wide and I have an L Desk and it hits the other part of my desk, but not a big deal i just scoot my chair over a few inches and its fine! I use a 2017 MacBook pro. The camera on the Mac is a wide angle lens. Even if I sat in right in front of the camera the screen did not work. The instructions suggested to use a paid app that may work. I decided not to pay for the app and return the screen.
