  • Good size but
Color: Chroma-key Green
The size of the screen is good but sometimes you can see the corners of the room behind you because it’s a little heavy so it falls a little behind you.

  • It works, it has it's flaws, but most reviews are USER issues
Color: Chroma-key Green
Other reviews: "It's too big." Dimensions are literally in the product title. If you can't be bothered to take a measuring tape and visualize a how big a 56'' circle will be, that is no one's fault but your own. "It doesn't work." You don't know how to set up a green screen. Common mistakes, not enough lighting on the subject, not enough lighting on the screen, not enough lighting behind the screen, not selecting the right color to key. One of the flaws of this screen is that light can shine through it, so if you have uneven lighting front/back you will have trouble keying the screen out. If your subject isn't brightly lit, you will have a hard time getting the screen to key out, because all the diffused light bouncing off the screen will make the subject partially keyed out with the screen once you actually get the screen keyed out. You need no bright spots shining through, you need to cast no shadows on the screen, straight on, even lighting across the screen and subject. When keying the screen out, I had to actually take a screen shot of the camera feed into a image editor and determine the "average" green of the screen and set that as the color to key out. After a lot of tweaking I was able to key out the screen perfectly. First I used a color adjustment to blow out the saturation to make all the colors more intense, so the screen became *very* green. Then I keyed out the screen. Then I used a second color correction to bring the saturation back down to normal levels, after the screen had been keyed out. With another camera I just selected default green and that worked fine, go figure. This is a compromise, it is attached to your chair, it is a circle. This will limit its usefulness, but if all you need is a green screen for video conferencing, this is it. No green screen is going to give you a "plug and play" experience. If you don't know how to set up a green screen, you will have a bad time, try looking up some tutorials. ... show more

  • Circles or Squares?
Color: Chroma-key Green
I was initially concerned that the circular version would not cover everything behind me when only on green screen, and I was thinking of sending it back for a square version. However, when I added the virtual background, it seemed to work just fine.

  • If only it were…
Color: Chroma-key Green
This is a nice product, and I love over the chair concept.I do a lot of Zoom, edit a lot of bad Zoom video where people’s body parts blend into their virtual background. So I wanted to test drive some affordable options for my colleagues. I have a portable muslin photo-backdrop 5’x 7’ that works well, but, folding it is a mess, and for it to hang correctly while seated at a desk, that requires two stands. Not what I call practical. The Webaround would be perfect except for its sheerness. Where I sit in my office there is a window behind me. I counteract that with a front facing light, but the backlight beams through the web around, so my chromakey on Zoom, does not get a consistent green color. The variations of light bleed through from front and back, therefore providing a halo effect or bleed through. It might work better at night. My other mild complaint, is when using Zoom, you have to be fairly close to the computer screen. I use an iMac. If you pull back in your chair, you will see the screen’s frame. Therefore I wish this was a bit bigger - an extra two or three inches would have helped especially if you want flexibility in your position during a long meeting. Chair wrigglers beware! I’ve seen some pear or triangular shapes out there that might solve the problem. But if I stay still, it works. Still, I wish the parachute material it is made of, would have been less translucent. ... show more

  • Too Large for My Needs!
Color: Chroma-key Green
I am going to return them if possible, not because they were a problem, but because I really should have measured the space in my bedroom. When I set one up, it took over so much of my bedroom, I felt like I was being attacked by Rover from "The Prisoner" TV show. It was impossible for me to fold back up which is why I gave it 4 stars. I had to use bungee cords to make it smaller. Obviously, it has overwhelmingly good reviews and I'm sure, it would work well for most people. ... show more

  • Not worth the effort.
Color: Chroma-key Green
I found it very difficult to refold after use and was not impressed with the camera exposure to the background with any movement. Mostly not happy with the difficulty of refolding, even trying to follow video instructions.

  • Practical for zooming from small spaces
Color: Chroma-key Green
The product comes in small, flat plastic packaging reminiscent of the packaging used for Halloween costumes and comes with a carry bag in which to store the screen and instructions (various helpful videos are on YouTube). I find the screen works very well on Zoom (less well on MS Teams, but I assume that's a software issue on the MS Teams end). Getting it closed the first time took some effort (here YouTube was a big help), but once I got the knack for it, I had no problem getting it closed. The only major-ish drawback is that I have to be pretty careful to make sure I've got the screen framed correctly before I start the conference, and I'm a little restricted in my motion (if I swivel too much, the green screen moves), but ultimately, even with this drawback, I find that this is a great solution, as I don't have the space to mount a larger green screen. One more thing to note: this product used velcro, so pay close attention to any upholstery that comes into contact with it. ... show more
