I am new to card making so I wanted to try an entry level (cost) machine that allowed me to experience embossing and die cutting techniques. This machine is wonderful. The suction plate on the bottom is just ok, however the machine is small enough it is still very workable. You are limited to the size of what you can do 3x5 pieces of paper. This has added to my card making design options immensely. I might have the creative bug and will probably also buy a larger machine for bigger projects ;) ... show more

I like the cutting plates. They have less tendency to warp rapidly. I would like more availability for replacement plates and a better variety of cutting dies. The machine does not suction to the table very well though.

This is great for dies that are less than 3" wide. I have been using this non-stop for a winter project and have zero complaints. I doubt I'll ever use the embossing feature but it is nice to know that exists.

This is a great little machine for die cutting small pieces but the suction handle gave out the second time I used it. It makes it a bit harder to use because it slides on table when least expected. A bit disappointed was looking forward to using it alot

Wonderful for small scraps of paper, and for smaller dies that you don't want to lose. It grips well onto my glass mat, and doesn't take up too much space on my craft table. I only wish it came with a magnetic mat!
