It's expensive but totally worth it. Took this car seat to the UK. It worked well in all vehicles. We had to buy car seat belt clips since not all UK vehicles have belts that lock. We also bought an airplane seatbelt extender to use on buses and trains. We even used it on the airplane! It literally went everywhere with us. It's light, easily portable, and easy to install. My husband could get this seat installed in under 60 seconds. He had lots of practice though in different types of vehicles. Worked great for Ubers as well. Would highly recommend. It may not have all the safety features of a 30lbs car seat but for travel it's decent and pretty safe overall. Your child has to be old enough to face forward though. The carry bag is also good quality and comfortable to wear as a backpack. Very happy with this purchase

There is leftover space in the bag to put extra traveling supplies. The quality is superb and it's so easy to set up. Make sure you click the red latch when using.

I love this car seat. Use it as an extra in my car, for travel, and when others are picking up my son. Love the backpack. It fits perfectly in the overhead compartment and doesn’t weigh a thing. So light. Easy to use and sturdy. The one caveat is that using as an airplane seat is a little uncomfortable because there’s no easy way for them to lean back to nap and such. Just something to keep in mind. I only use in cars.

It’s great for short trips or hop and go travel but it’s main major flaw is the placement of the crotch strap. It’s too close into the seat and rubs on a larger child. It would be good if pico found a way to create a second size for the crotch strap so its placement could be modified as needed. We love it for travel and it’s super convenient but we can see how that little aspect will affect our ability to use it as our child grows.

So light and relatively small. Awesome for travel. Throw it on your back and go. Only downside is when he dozes off his head just flops over with no support. Not really a downside: I always have to install. Not sure if wife just likes it that way or if it’s somehow confusing (straightforward to me).

Our family is on the go and we were looking for the perfect car seat for our 4 year old. He is 30 pounds and this seat is perfect. It is lightweight we gate checked it and it was not a problem carrying it round the airport at only 8 pounds and the bag it comes with is perfect. The install in the car was super simple and now my kiddo only wants to use it as his permanent car seat. You could probably also use it in a narrow back row..

The design of this car seat is amazing and lightweight but that's all, this is by far the most complex to use car seat I have ever had. It is approved to use on the airplane, but the design has flaws, the red guides for the seat belt are too high and the shorter buckle of the airplane does not fir on the guide because of the buckle, big disappointment. On the car is possible to install, but is not easy to tight the lower anchors to the point that the seat doesn't move as recommended. The child seatbelts tend to jam or goes out of route getting tighter, risking you to tight the seatbelt, but being too loose at the end. For me, a car seat must be error proof, and this is far away of being error proof. Be aware!

This was a great purchase! I’ve traveled twice since I purchased this and it was a life saver especially when you don’t want to have your child on your lap the entire plane ride. The only thing is of course you have to purchase the child their own seat. The book bag is light weight and it’s convenient when walking through the airport and storing the empty bag in the over head compartment. The bag has enough space for a neck pillow and even some pampers lol. The only thing I would have liked is if it had a head strap for when the child is asleep because my daughter’s head was slumped over. I ended up buying a head strap from Amazon and it fits around the car seat perfectly. So with a combination of her neck pillow and head strap she’s good to go! The other gripe is that I got approached by the stewardess a few times on connecting flights to ensure the car seat was flight approved and I had to point to the tiny airplane symbol on the car seat. They should have a tag or something to show it is airplane approved.
