If you are looking for a quick and easy enclosure to put together than this is a good product to choose from. Instructions are clear, and honestly all you'd have to do is look at the product picture to put it together it's so simple. However, if you have an older cat (and an apparent vertical peeing one too) then this enclosure is not for you. It will not hold well if your cleanings aren't twice per day for an entire deep clean, as the engineered wood holds about as solid as a couple layers of wet cardboard. It will smell after a while since as again, it is engineered word or glorified cardboard. I also replaced the hardware with 2 of HomeDepot's "Everbilt Double Roller Catch with Spear, Zinc Plated (1-Pack)" because the magnetic one kept opening when the cats would scratch at the door from the inside. I've purchased this first from Wayfair, then found a better price on Amazon and have replaced it about 3-4 times over the years but ultimately realized the amount of money spent on the enclosure alone could have been saved if I had just went with a full wooden one, or even a hard plastic insert to save the cardboard from seemingly inevitable deterioration. Overall, it is a nice product to use for a short period of time, and it is worth it for the price listed. ... show more

We have two of these enclosures, stacked. They're great, the cats love them. Unfortunately, the dogs also love them and can get them open easily. We had to install knobs that can be latched as well as bars over the entry to keep the dogs out. I wish it came with these features! Also, the doors have broken off a couple times by clumsy humans, but were fairly easy to repair. ... show more

I used this litter enclosure for about a year, but it definitely was not great quality. Threw it out when moving to a new place because it was not the easiest to clean (litter would get in the cracks) and it started to smell a little bit. I didn’t even get through the entire assembly before deciding that this wasn’t worth it. For the price, I was hoping for something a little more sturdy. This is cardboard with a covering meant to look like “wood”. It also doesn’t screw into place…it’s wooden pegs with no method to secure them with the occasionally strip of 3M adhesive tape. 2 years ago I ordered my first one, which it took myself less than 15 minutes to assemble and it was perfect!! I decided to order a new one, just because of normal wear and tear with moving and the sticky tape strips automatically peeled off the boards and wouldn’t re-attach. Leaving nothing to hold the boards together besides the little pegs. I ended up having to DIY it with my own command strips (which took a lot longer than 15 minutes) . Was a little frustrated because of how much the product went up within the two years & with having the tape just automatically fall off and melt together. I can't believe how sturdy they're able to make this look on the outside when it's literally a cardboard box! I too used wood glue on the pegs after reading reviews. However, I prefer to keep litter boxes outside. I live in an apartment and I have a lanai so my cats box is out there. I was hoping for this cover to last a year at least, for costing over a hundred bucks! You're basically paying for clever craftsmanship. A cardboard box is still just a flimsy box that will break down. So nobody cares that it looks like a real wood coffee table/storage piece of furniture, if it won't last. Rip off! I'm wishing I went to Ross and bought real furniture and converted it. I don't think this box will last a month on my lanai. Definitely not bringing it inside! ... show more
