I followed the directions and washed the sheets before placing them on the bed. They came out of the dryer without any wrinkles, unlike my previous cotton sheets. With the extra room in the corners, the fitted sheet was very easy to install on the mattress. Since they are so soft and supple, I was afraid it would be difficult to place the flat sheet over the mattress, but that wasn't the case. Although they are silky they're not slippery and, since they're all natural, they breathe well and are very comfortable. These sheets are great. This is my second order of bamboo sheets and the trick to keep these things as silky smooth as possible are pretty easy. Step 1- get two pairs. You will always want to use them but you will also need to let them air dry for best effect. And air drying takes about 2 days for me. So don’t get impatient and throw them in the dryer (my first mistake) low wash on cold and you are good to go- I thought I wanted silk sheets but after I got my hands on these- I was pleasantly surprised and saved hundreds. The media could not be loaded. This is my initial review for the GOKOTTA Bamboo Sheets Queen Size and I'll continue updating it as I use it. This cooling sheets for me is a purchase this year! It might feel like it’s all gimmick, but then I layed on it and could feel my body going full-on cool bliss, combined with also a cooling blanket I got and it's just the best feeling ever in a hot weather. It’s like being thrown in an ice box, helped with some heat anxiety for sure. My sleep is way better my fitbit shows that I have longer deep and rem sleep now and less light sleep! and actually I can tell. I feel more energized and no more restless legs and tossing too much, all that is now gone. The bamboo fabric is so silky and keeps me cool so cool to the point you can forget using this thing in the winter, no no. I can tell it’s very well made, with the good quality fabric vs the cheap competitors I had before. This is the cool bed sheet set to buy for me and I’ve already recommended it to all of my coworkers. The only downside for me is the my cats also loves it, but they scratched them and made some annoying pokes all over, which pissed me, as now me and the cats have to fight over it. As far as other negatives? nothing else comes to mind, it arrived very wrinkly, but nothing a one cycle in the dryer wouldn't fluff. Also it's very light weight, which is amazing, you can just carry it anywhere you want! Overall, great quality material, my cats loves it, great invention, love the cooling effect, couldn't be happier . I highly recommend them. P.S. The media could not be loaded. I’m a sucker for super soft sheets, and I feel like that’s one of a few things in life that should be somewhat luxurious, and I’ll happily invest in quality sheets. This is my second experience with bamboo sheets, and I’ve not been let down. They are incredibly soft and they stay cool. One feature that is really nice is the bands on the corners of the fitted sheet. I think we can all agree that an ill-fitting fitted sheet riding up is painfully annoying so having these bands provides and extra hold that keeps it in place better. That would be especially useful if you have a mattress topper or pillow top that makes it harder to stay in place. I also really love this shade of green. Green is my favorite color anyway, but this is a really neutral green. The set came in a matching drawstring bag which is suitable for storing. We love these and will order more. ... show more

I was so excited to try out these sheets when I first got them. They feel super soft and silky. I first washed the sheets on gentle cycle and dried. They fit pretty well after washing but were quite wrinkly. I then slipped into bed and thought I had finally found some super comfy sheets and was so happy. My boyfriend also thought they were awesome. Unfortunately though, when I woke up in the morning I could already see that the sheets had started to shed fibers, and within a week the pilling was horrible! See the attached picture I took after 1 week sleeping on the sheets. I will say that my boyfriend's side of the bed does not have as bad pilling, only minor. I move my legs a lot at night, so that is likely a big factor. I'm so bummed out- absolutely ridiculous that these sheets pilled so bad so quick, considering their price. One other complaint is that since the sheets are silky they do slip and slide all over the bed. I have to readjust the comforter on a nightly basis. I have a waterbed and was given a set of bamboo sheets. I loved them and when a friend was talking about needing new sheets, I bought these for him (in a pay-it-forward kind of way) and he hasn't stopped raving about how it feels so wonderful to sleep on these. Let's face it - we don't need as much stuff as we have in our homes. Useless utensils. Accumulated cords. But the one thing you use every single night is your bed. So every night you can, like my friend and me, snuggle into these sheets and have at least one thing that works great. They don't pill or get wrinkles that solidify on the first night of sleep so that you feel like you're sleeping on rocks. They stay soft and cool while enveloping you in environmentally-sweet comfort. They aren't cheap - and surprise, surprise - they don't feel cheap either! But you know what? They're worth it.
