I ordered the XYLDRA WATERPROOF STEEL TOE BOOTS for my husband’s work boots. He's a mechanic and works in an industry where safety shoes are required. It can be surprisingly difficult to find good work boots. Good work boots have to meet several requirements, depending on what industry you're working in. They have to be nonslip, have puncture-proof soles, and have steel toes to prevent crushing injuries. They need to have good ankle and arch support. In some places they need to be waterproof, insulated, and oil resistant. Above all, in the trades that require work boots, many workers spend eight hours or more on their feet in a shift. That means comfort is a necessity. Wide toe boxes, extra padding on the soles, and all-around padding that cradles the foot can prevent foot pain. They also need to be durable. Both my husband and I feel like we hit the jackpot with these boots. My husband is extremely happy with the comfort of these, and they meet all the other requirements necessary for safely working in his industry. These boots required no breaking in. My husband has worn them every day for a week now, and they feel great on his feet. The soles have a lot of padding, which helps a lot when he spends up to 10 hours a day standing and walking on concrete and cement floors. One thing that helped a lot with the fit on these boots is that they come in wide sizes. Getting the right size is so crucial in a work boot. Surprisingly, a lot of companies don't do wide sizes. My husband normally wears a size 11 wide. When they don't come in wide, he orders an 11 1/2. Sometimes that works, and sometimes it doesn't. A wider toe box can make a huge difference in terms of comfort. When you spend a lot of time on your feet, they spread out. With steel toes, there's no breaking in the toe area. What you end up with is what you started with. The 11 wide in this boot is true to size and fits him like a dream. My husband definitely appreciates the wide size being offered in this boot. It would be nice if all safety boots came in wide sizes. Recommended

These are very sturdy construction. They have a tight fit and are very comfortable. The inside is very wide and fit my foot well. I feel like they are lighter than my other safety shoes I have with a steal toe. I put them on and went for a hike and found them to be very comfortable to wear for a few hours while walking around. They are a little stiff when trying to flex the foot but that is suspected with the extra layers to make them puncture proof. They are also very stylish and look good. I really like the blue color with the black accents. I think they would be great to go hiking in, work in, or just taking care of the stuff around the house. Definitely a good buy.

These boots feel like slippers on my feet. They might very well be the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. These are perfect for wide feet or anyone that wants an extra roomy toe box. In addition to being very comfortable, they are surprisingly light weight. The comfortable padding extends to the wide tongue and around the heel. The last two lace eyes are speed laces so they go on and off quickly. Of course, the waterproofing only extends to the hight of the tongue so keep that in mind if you're going to be in water deeper than 4 inches. The sole is rugged and grips well on smooth concrete. Overall, I am very pleased with these boots and the only single complaint I can come up with is that they are really "shiny". That's right, I ordered the tan and they are so shiny that almost light up. I am sure this will go away after a while but if you work around the kind of people that will step on your shoe when you wear new shoes, well. at least you have the steel toe to protect you.

Great Steel-Toe solution with ANSI rating for both impacts and compression. I like the design and you can tell right away that they are of a heavy quality. The stitching and materials are all good. Waterproof and keep out the mud and rain. Nice feeling inside these things - all protected up. Still light enough and flexible. They offer wide toe boxes and extra padding on the soles and around the foot. they will need to be broken in a bit to loosen them up, but that is normal.

These workboot shoes are sturdy, rugged, waterproof and protective. They're correctly sized and fit comfortably. Safety features include steel toes, slip-resistant sole tread, some reflective fabric. And really nice looking, "to boot." ;) My husband loves them, and I'm glad he wears them while working on potentially hazardous projects.
