We first tried a basic, inexpensive couch cover of the type you tuck into the back & sides. It did not have a non-slip backing. The second was a little thicker with non-slip back, but the tucking in was not all the effective. When sitting on the couch it would come undone. This third purchase seems to be a winner. It's thick enough with a very good non-slip backing. We got it it way oversized so it simply covers the entire couch, we'll beyond all edges. We simply fling it aside when using the couch. Then cover it again when we are not around and our dog wants to jump up to look out the window or take a nap. She "digs" often and the only thing that holds up well are these oversized denim beanbags we've had in our family room. But this new cover may be equally tough, only time will tell... ... show more

I was so happy to see that the ivory color matched so closely to my couch. I initially ordered a 30 x 70” blanket but it kept slipping off, so I went with the 52x82”. With the bigger size, I can tuck the blanket under the cushions to make it stay better. I inadvertently tested the waterproof aspect when I spilled a soda a few days ago. Very easy to clean up! I threw it in the washer and dryer, and it came out just like new. I like that the material is a little soft, but still has enough texture to make spot cleaning easy. It also keeps my dogs a bit cooler than if they were sitting on fleece blankets. I feel like they actually have better traction with the cover than just walking on the couch itself. ... show more

I recently purchased the Tcksstex Waterproof and Non-Slip Dog Bed Cover and Pet Blanket Sofa Pet Bed Mat to protect my new couches from my dog, who sheds a lot and has nails that can cause holes. So far, I’ve had it for a couple of days and will update this review later on. The fabric feels nice and the small grips on the back seem like they will help keep it from slipping off the couch. The blanket appears well-made and is cool to the touch, which is great since I live in Florida where it’s always hot. Hopefully, this cover will allow my dog to enjoy the couches without damaging them. Couches are surprisingly expensive, so I’m really hoping this works out! It's been really hard for me to train my dog to stay off my new couch I had a leather couch for years and I used to let them up there, I used to keep a large blanket and or beach towel on there for them to lay on, now my new couch is not leather it is chenille and I try to keep them off but I have an area,which is where they used to lay on my old couch, covered with towels and blankets, and my dog would consistently climb up there and try to make himself a bed out of the towels and blankets by pulling them together bunching them up into what we call a little Nest, like a bird nest because that's what it looks like when he jumps out of it.. but ever since I got this couch cover, I ordered the largest one so that he cannot do that, and I'm shocked at how well it works, not only does he now pretty much stay off the couch full time but the few times that he has jumped up there he cannot pull it or move it yay! I'm so happy I found this I wish I would have found this years ago it works so great, it's really pretty too and the little feet on the back keep it from sliding around, and it's not very thick so it'll easily pop in my washing machine, which btw I haven't even had to wash it yet because my dog has hardly gotten on it, shocked is what I am, and I'm definitely going to come back here and get another one for my upstairs couch, which currently has the old style cover and does not work very well. The media could not be loaded. I got the Pet Bed Mat several weeks ago. The length was 68 x 29 inches not 70 x 30 as stated in description. It covers my couch sitting area but not the back rest. It is adequate for my large German Shepherd but does not stay in place and slides all over the place on my leather couch. If you have a fabric couch it could be more gripping?? It is useful and I am glad I have it but isn't quite what the description says in terms of grip and dimensions. A nice throw cover for various uses though and I can use it as a cover for my dog crate when traveling. It is water "resistant" not waterproof as description states. See video...water beads up on it and runs off easily but does soak in if left on after a few seconds. Works great for dog drool but if dog pees you will need to catch it quickly and rinse it off or else it soaks in. It is lightweight and easily folds or rolls for storage or transport. This quilted, waterproof blanket, looks so nice on the bed. One would never know by looking at it, that it is waterproof. I have washed it numerous time and it holds it color, and the rubber dots on the backside have not come off or melted in a low heat dryer. I don't have the heart to kick my elderly dog out of the bed. Because of her advanced age, she has become incontinent and this is a perfect solution for her occasional accidents. It is beige on the back side with tiny rubber dots to hold it in place. My dog likes to dig the blanket away to reach the sheets and this prevents her from being successful. A perfect solution. I bought the 82 x 102 size and it does not entirely fit my king size mattress. I turn the long side horizontal on the bed which leaves a little overhang on each side but the short side reaches the bottom of my pillows and the end of the bed with no overhang. Works for my needs but just be aware this is not a true king size blanket. I still gave it 5 stars because they did list the correct size. ... show more

My pup has some nerve issues that make holding his urine in difficult as the bladder fills. So when he’s been sleeping on the couch for awhile sometimes he can’t get up fast enough to get outside and some comes out. Instead of making him feel shameful and not allowing him on the couch I just put this on and it’s way less stressful for all of us.
