These only last about 1/5 as long as the brand name product. However, they are about 1/10 the price. (This is perhaps a slight exaggeration, but you get the point.) I pre-filter my VERY HARD well water through this cheap faucet filter before I put it through my very expensive Berkey water filters. I've been using my Berkey filters daily for over 2 years now without replacing them and they still work like new, so these cheap filters obviously work very well at removing the larger sediment. ... show more
