All you need is a place to mount the unit, a propane tank and connecting to a water hose. The water gets hot pretty quick, good water flow. Adjusting water temperature was easy. The best thing is I can carry it anywhere if I need.

This is a well made unit that is easy to hook up and use with a few tweaks. First, you will need either a leader hose or a female to female coupler in order to use a water hose. Secondly, there is no way to shut the water off at the unit so you will either need to add a valve or get a different shower head that features am on/off water flow button. With those 2 tweaks , a couple of D batteries and some propane, you will have instant hot water on demand. I do think they need to have a few other option for a power supply besides only 2 D batteries. Maybe a couple of wire terminals that would accept 12vDC from a car battery or even connections from a solar panel. It does have a round exhaust so you can vent this unit if needed. None of the connectors leaked and I really liked using the rubber washer instead of pipe tape for the propane connection. I also checked for gas leaks and there was not any.

This tankless water heater is great, except that the included regulator was faulty and didn't allow propane to flow. I have several other propane appliances, so I was able to rob a regulator and get this working. Setup is easy, I planned ahead and purchased quick connects for the gas and water lines to make it more portable so it only takes a few seconds to get everything connected when ready for use.

Very impressed. I have had smaller versions of these propane water heaters and this one is much bigger and really puts out some very hot water and a lot of it. You can turn any outdoor spot into a shower. All you need is a pressurized water source and a propane tank. Add two D sized batteries for the electronic ignition which seem to last for years in this style water heater. As soon as the unit senses water pressure it ignites and you have a steady flow of hot water. My ground water was 55 degrees and I easily got 113 degree water output. You can adjust the water flow and the gas pressure to achieve the perfect shower water. Once you figure out the settings you like you simply turn on the unit and step into the shower. This unit is roughly twice the size of the smaller cheaper units. You will be impressed. One problem I did have was with the regulator on the provided propane hose. It wouldn’t provide gas. Luckily I had a spare regulator and that one worked fine. That is the only reason right now that it doesn’t get 5 stars. I am going to see how they address this issue with me and will update my review accordingly.

I purchased this propane powered water heater for 3 reasons: camp shower, dog baths in backyard during colder seasons, and as a backup for when our house hot water heater finally dies (I've been doing temp fixes for over a year to avoid dropping $2k on a replacement). You'll need to buy (2) D batteries to get this to work. I also bought a different adapter for the cold water inlet so that I can use a male quick disconnect fitting from my garden hose. Besides that, you'll also need your own propane tank. During first use, in our backyard for dog washing, the ambient air temperature was 65 degrees and I'm guessing the municipal water was about 50 degrees. Our domestic water pressure is usually around 50-70psi. In less than 10 seconds we had hot water....it might have been less than 5 seconds. Very fast. Within a second, you can hear the pilot light come on, and after that, it virtually makes zero sound. For dog washing, I would have preferred a less hot setting. With maximum water flow, and gas set at the lowest setting, 93 degrees was the coldest I could obtain. Using the lowest gas setting and decreasing water to lowest setting, I was getting 103 degrees. Now, when ambient temps are freezing, I'm sure this unit will work just fine. NOTE: the unit itself does not have an on/off valve for water flow. If the unit is receiving pressurized water, it's going to flow, so I recommend you have your own ball valve on your inlet hose. This tank does not come with a stand. My original design was going to be an elaborate unistrut support rack, but then I saw a person on YouTube modify a hand dolly, I opted to copy that easy path forward. I already had scrap wood and Bungie cords lying around, so that basic approach saved me $100, and makes it easier to transport.

We love going on big family camping trips and this year I wanted to get another hot water heater for showers because we are always waiting entirely too long for the other person to get done so as soon as I saw this one I had to scoop it up. This came very well packed and secured and everything was perfectly as described in the ad even down to the measurements so it was the perfect size that I needed it to be. Just be sure you go over all the sizing and all the water flow stuff before you get it to be sure it will be powerful enough for your needs. This checks all the boxes and works great. It's super easy to hook up and install and me or my husband can do it in no time. It functions nicely as intended and I love that it you can have a nice hot shower even while you were out camping! The shower quality is amazing and there's plenty of pressure. No leaks or drips anywhere and this is super heavy duty and durable! It does have some weight to it but it's lightweight enough you can get it set up with another person pretty easily. Very impressed with the quality and the craftsmanship and how sturdy and nice it is! Definitely an amazing value for your money in quality alone! We have tested this out a handful of times already and it works great! We have not run into a single issue in this whole process has been very user friendly. If you're thinking about it don't hesitate it is very nice
