I've only had this since Saturday evening, but so far I love it! I don't know how it will hold up with the teething stage, nor do I know how it will hold up to washing yet. I read the reviews on it not being very thick, and I was not sure if it would be a good bed for my little guy going to work with me, but he's teething so I figured it would be worth a shot at such a low price. I followed the directions when I opened it, so maybe fluffing it in the dryer helped with the flatness that was evident from shipping. It's thick and comfy, so I would definitely recommend it. I bought an XL because I know my little guy won't be little for long. He's 11 weeks and 20 pounds, so if it holds up for a few months, I'll be happy 😊 ... show more

I rarely leave reviews, but I HAD to let people know what a great dog bed this is. I have a new 8-month-old rescue puppy and originally bought the medium for her because of the price. Unfortunately, the day I adopted her, she went into heat, so I have basically had to wash the bed four days out of the last five, and it washes so well! I was going to be happy if it lasted two months for the price, but this bed is going to last a very long time. I think my sweet pup is addicted to the warm fuzzy feeling when it comes out of the dryer. She just dives on top and snuggles in. She loved it so much, I had to buy a large for my 8-year-old German Shepherd because she needed something soft to lie on with her sore hips. She absolutely loves it too. I thought it would bother me that it did not have a zippered covering that I could just throw into the wash, but the bed easily fits into the washer/dryer and comes out perfect! This actually took a couple of days to reach its maximum fullness, but it did, and it's great. Super soft and cushy. My dog loves it, and she hasn't tried to chew it, so I can't speak for that. Nor have I had occasion to wash it yet, but it seems like it will be fine. The fuzziness does not come off when I pull it, so I'm guessing it will stay put in the washer as well. *** Update. Had to wash this today. I have the large and it just about fit in my top loading Samsung high capacity machine. Washed up fine. No fuzz left behind. Took a very long time to dry it, like three full cycles but it’s like new. Better than new! Seems fluffier. Would definitely buy again but will take to the laundromat next time. ... show more

This item was squeezed into packaging to the extent that it was quite difficult to unfurl. I noticed it was compressed and smelled kind of chemical-y so popped it in the wash. Very happy with the look and poufiness of the item, knocking off a point for difficulty unpacking and how much it shed onto other items and me after laundering. We use this for our dogs on our cement garage floor, so it gets very dirty. I have washed it twice on the heavy-duty setting and it’s held up great. I bought this for our rescue because I needed something quickly and wanted something I could wash. It came rolled up which allowed it to expand evenly when it was opened and unrolled. Within no time it puffed up to a comfortable bed that she enjoys. The cover does not come off for washing, you wash the whole bed, so I'm not sure how well that's going to work.
