It’s bit on the thin side; you’ll definitely want to anchor it under some heavy furniture. If you want something substantial, a pad underneath might be a good idea. I wanted something that I would not be overly concerned with the spills from the grandkids or pets accidents . Love the rug. Soft and pretty. I had trouble putting it on the floor because the pets loved it too. Happy it is machine washable. It goes well in my room because it has more of a teal predominant color instead of green. The description is misleading calling it grassy green.

It's washable. It took a few days to lay flay and there are still areas where it curls up but all in all, it does the job. I needed a reasonably priced rug that was easy to clean (I have multiple pets), and had a non-slip backing. This fits the bill perfectly, and is beautiful as well. It took a few days for the creases from packing to smooth out and now it looks like a high-end expensive rug. I am more than pleased!
