Rug came exactly as described— the colors are strong and look just like the photo, and after running it through 2 heavy duty washes after my cats peed on it, it didn’t fade at all!! I was super impressed by its washability, especially after two intense, treated washes. I would recommend buying non slip tape if you plan on putting it on tile or hardwood, it’s definitely not slip resistant. Overall, this is a great buy for the price. It’s soft, vibrant, and durable!

this is the perfect rug. It's thin enough to vacuum straight from the hardwood floors without having to adjust, which i didn't realize annoyed me so much until finding this rug. The color is exactly what i was hoping for, as well. It isn't too vibrant or contrasted, and ties everything in the room together without standing out, while simultaneously adding dimension and depth. i originally purchased this rug for the large size and aesthetic elements, but i have to admit that my favorite part may actually be the texture. it's extremely soft, almost like velvet or lambs ear leaves, and luxurious to walk on. And because it's such a thin rug, there's no fiber separation or pile for animal hairs and crumbs to get tangled in. it does have a nonslip backing, but since it is so thin, i may need to add some sort of rug tape under the open corners to keep it secure. not many rugs can handle a giant working dog with the zoomies, so i'm not counting that as a design flaw. overall im extremely happy with this purchase and i can't wait to see how it holds up as time goes on. since it appears to have the design printed onto a single piece (verses individual strands like a traditional rug), i do wonder if it will eventually show obvious signs of wear and color degradation around the higher traffic areas.

I put this rug down on May 4th, so this review is after 2 weeks of use. I absolutely love it. I got the 9x12 and was able to place it by myself (5’10, 145lb, female) with relative ease. It came folded but didn’t really require any extra effort to smooth the lines. They pretty much went away on their own after a day or two of lying on the floor. The color is stunning. I will say that it’s a bit more of a blue green in person but that’s what I wanted so I based my decision to purchase off the other reviewers who made the same observation. It is incredibly soft and comfortable to walk on. The directions say to use the highest possible pile height on your vacuum cleaner when vacuuming because using the beater too aggressively can damage the rug. I have a Dyson V15 and I’ve just been using the Fluffy Optic head on the Auto setting and it’s been perfect. Today I thought I’d try the usual carpet attachment though. Even on the highest pile setting and on Eco, the beater would stop spinning. Something to keep in mind when purchasing if you have a standard Dyson. I know I’d be pretty upset to find that my vacuum won’t work on my rug. I can’t speak to washability because I don’t think this will fit in my machine. It was quite nice that it comes with a sheet to show what size washer is needed for what size rug. I’ll likely spot clean and if it’s ever necessary for a full clean take it to a professional. Other reviewers have noted that their rug had already started coming unbound at the sides. I have no had this issue at all. Our living room is a pretty high traffic area with a dog and a cat. I’ve vacuumed it multiple times since my dog sheds so much, and thus far the edges seem to be perfectly intact. If you’re looking for a dupe for the Morris & Co. Blackthorn Forest rug from Ruggable, this is a fantastic option for an unbeatable price. The price difference between this one and that one was $933 at the time of my purchase. I also really liked that it came in a bag without being vacuum sealed. It’s a zip-up bag which I’m keeping in case we move soon. I love that I’ll be able to fold it back up and safely store it in a way that takes up far less space than a rolled rug would. Overall, I couldn’t be happier. I can’t think of anything I’d want to be different, nor can I think of any cons to this product. I’ve never bought a rug before, so I was really nervous to pull the trigger. I look at rugs and it always seems like it’s close but not *quite* what I’m looking for, though I can’t ever really put my finger on why. But I’m so glad I picked this one. It’s perfect.

UPDATE: The rug already has a snag in it, so while I am still pleased with this rug and it will remain at a 4 star rating, it may not be the most durable. Keep this in mind if you have kids that like to rough house or dogs. I have cats, and one of them managed to snag the rug while they were playing. I am so happy I decided to pull the trigger on this rug. I am very happy with it. I have been eyeing the original rug off of Ruggable that this one is based off of. I can’t speak to how it compares to the original, but I can say that I am happy with this version since the 9x12 size that I ordered is only ~$300 compared to over $1k from Ruggable. It is very soft. It does have wrinkles once taken out of the package, but they come out just fine with an iron. The colors are gorgeous. It is a four star for me because it is quite thin (due to it being washable), but I have a 1/4 inch rug pad underneath it and it’s perfect for our front room. It also does slip a bit since it’s thin. There are some little folds that don’t quite ever lay flat, but they’re not incredibly noticeable. Overall, I would definitely recommend purchasing. I am attaching photos in bright daylight and muted light.
