These safes are crazy expensive. Wanted a smaller one but for pricing I just couldn't justify those types of units. So I began the search for big safes and more importantly the delivered/installed because they could be 600 to 800 lbs. You could probably find the same deal through Dicks Sporting goods but that's a lot of moving hassle involved and lining up buddies to help you move stuff that they don't really want to do anyway. So the shipping was free with Amazon, I was sold right there. I have a shop so delivering inside a house might be different. I still feared that I would get a drop on the corner of your property with no notification type experience l. It's scary ordering these units. The delivery group, a third party, that Amazon got to put this in was amazing. Can't say enough about those people. They called first thing in morning and then when they were close. As for product, these have backup keys. I'm not sure why anyone would want to purchase a safe without that option but lots of big manufacturers are going that route. I'm not old enough but I love the old hand combination style, but moving on. It's very tall, do my plan is to actually use guns on all the bottom and use the top for ammo. I'll have to update once I start filling this thing. I'm not sure currently if the top board would hold all my ammo without supporting somehow. I used one of the mounting holes to push a 12 guage extension cord to use with dehumidifiers rod & led lighting. I'd recommend using t pins to install the led lighting as the tape on the ones I purchased wouldn't stick to the felt material It's been amazing purchasing a big safe from Amazon! ... show more
